Roland Juno-6 versus Roland JX-3P | Comparison

video upload by MIDERA

"Comparing the Juno-6 to the JX-3P. Some of this felt a little unfair because I was using the Juno 6 with sub and both oscillators active, so the 3P sounded a little anemic at times. I also noticed at times the JX-3P appeared quieter. I tried to rectify this, but know that going in it may feel slightly biased. I made this video TWO YEARS AGO and actually forgot until today that I had made it, sitting 'unlisted' in YouTube.

04.28.2025 Synton Fenix

video upload by batchas

"Synton Fenix II, III, IId with Scrotum Lab ex0ex.
Kind of vowel sounds = I send a sawtooth from Fenix II oscillator into the ex0ex filter input and I send the ex0ex output into the ring modulator of Fenix IId. I send a sinewave into the other ring mod input. Direct outs from Fenix(es) sent to mixer. No ext. effect added."

Dual LeCaine Synth Overlay for EaganMatrix Instruments and Electra One MK2.

video upload by EaganMatrix Programming

"I realized it would not take that much work to take the Dual Wavebank Synth Overlay for EaganMatrix-based instruments that lets you manipulate Saw, Square and Triangle configured waves and turn it into a Le Caine Synth Overlay (the newer additive Wavebank wave option that lets you manipulate the amplitudes of six Square waves (X, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X and 8X frequencies). Since the GUI for this is totally different in terms of configuring the bank I created a new Overlay. I expect the new Electra One firmware to be released very soon and hopefully Osmose firmware that will support Overlays very soon as well. I'll release the overlays I have for Beta testing when formal notice of the firmware required to run them is announced."

Arpeggio - the Arpeggiator Overlay Guide

video upload by Tangible Instruments

"This video explains in detail how to use Arpeggio's Arpeggiator Overlay. The Arpeggiator Overlay gives you an insane amount of control over custom arp styles. Start by mixing and matching any two of the base note orders (or just pick one): Up, Down, Sequence, Reverse, and Random. Then apply and combine separate modifiers to each like Inside Out, Skip Forward, Alternating First, Zig Zag, and more. Each arp style can also have an Arpeggiator Rhythm of up to 16-steps."

"Just got turned onto these cool modules from Infinite Machinery which is located here in my little town. Really digging them. Enjoy these brief test drives."

The Infinite Machinery Hexa VCA is a 6 channel VCA with DC coupling and a unique normalization function. All in 12 HP

Signal inputs are DC coupled.
CV input response, 0 to +5V

Maximum amplification is unity gain, or 1.

Channels with no CV input will have CV normalized
to the CV of the channel above. This cascading of CV
values is defined in two groups, channels 1 - 3 and 4 - 6.

For example: If CV is patched to channel 1 and no CV
patched into channels 2 & 3 - Channels 2 & 3 will
follow the CV of channel 1.

Patch CV into channel 2 and nothing into channel 3
then channel 3 will follow the CV of channel 2.
The same hold true for channels 4 - 6, with 4 being
the start of the CV cascade.

Module depth - 34mm

Current draw - 40mA +-

Touch 2 by Synthux Academy!

video upload by Quincas Moreira Music

"This is an edit (by Edgar Lopez - Thanks Edgar) of the composition livestream I did (I try to do them daily) centered around the Synhux Academy Simple Touch 2 synthesizers I was given by the brand at Superbooth 2024. It's the first in this new format where I focus certain livestreams on composing with a particular instrument and then turn that stream into a review or tutorial. Hope you like it!"

Analogue Solutions AS500-SEQ | 64-Step Sequencer with Fusebox X and ARP Omni

video upload by rezfilter

"The AS500-SEQ 64-step analogue sequencer is pulling double duty here — clocking the Fusebox X and modulating the filter on a vintage ARP Omni. No notes are being sequenced — the AS500-SEQ is used strictly for modulation and clock duties.

The Omni is played live by hand, and the Fusebox X bass pitch is manually triggered live using the Interval Generator (IG).

Captured live and recorded live — no MIDI.

In this setup: the AS500-SEQ handles clock and filter modulation, the Fusebox X brings the synth tone, and the ARP Omni delivers the vintage textures."
