"This video explains in detail how to use Arpeggio's Arpeggiator Overlay. The Arpeggiator Overlay gives you an insane amount of control over custom arp styles. Start by mixing and matching any two of the base note orders (or just pick one): Up, Down, Sequence, Reverse, and Random. Then apply and combine separate modifiers to each like Inside Out, Skip Forward, Alternating First, Zig Zag, and more. Each arp style can also have an Arpeggiator Rhythm of up to 16-steps."

"The Sequencer Overlay lets you dive deeper into your saved sequences and change the pitch or octave of any note, add slide notes where you want, adjust swing, and note probability. In the beginning of the video I'm adjusting the 'Sequence Frequency Pattern' which is like a step sequencer for the entire sequence. Sometimes you don’t want a melody to play constantly in order to leave space for the other instruments in your composition. A Sequence Frequency Pattern of up to 16 steps is saved with each sequence. Each step can either play the sequence or wait silently for the length of the sequence. Later, I'm using live note input to change notes in the sequence as it's playing. @KorgOfficial @jhspedals"

First revealed back in June of 2013, we now have some additional details on the upcoming Arpeggio. Further below are three making-of videos featuring audio from the Arpeggio's built-in AVR synth engine.

"Introducing arpeggio. A new kind of electronic instrument with an interface so simple you can let your intuition take over. A design focused on seamless composition and performance which gives you the precise control to make any melody you want. Every detail of your sequence at your fingertips. No screens or menus. Arpeggio takes the notes you select and instantly plays them in a looping sequence. Tweak and save note sequences. These form the building blocks of melodic improvisation. String them together to create complex melodies. It’s a blank sketchpad for musical notes. There are no presets. You are the composer.

• Create, play, and save sequences instantly with live arpeggio sequencer.
