Cruising Historic US 101, California Coast (Carlsbad to Oceanside)
video upload by CatSynth TV
"We cruise along Historic US 101 in the southern California beach towns of Carlsbad and Oceanside. Also known as Coast Highway (and Carlsbad Blvd within the eponymous city limits), this was part of the original US 101 in California that stretched from San Diego to the Oregon border. It was truncated to Los Angeles in 1964, and several of the former sections to the south have been signed as "Historic US 101". This segment is also signed as San Diego county route S21.

Album with Make Noise only - Fracture #06 Live Performance
video upload by Anton Anru
"🎆 Fractures is the result of a series of experiments with the Make Noise modular trio: 0-Coast, Strega, and 0-Ctrl. This combination of instruments is perfectly suited for generative ambient music, where hypnotic repetition merges with expression and dynamic movement.
💽 I recorded a 10-track album using only three Make Noise devices and VST effects.
All tracks were recorded live in a single take, with no additional editing. Each piece is built around a sequenced pattern and a complex patch that evolves continuously, shaped manually in real time.
The album is available on all streaming platforms.
➕ SoundCloud: / fractures
➕ Bandcamp: https://anru.bandcamp.com/album/fract...
The album explores a wide emotional range — from brighter, more uplifting moments to darker, more noise-driven textures — offering a diverse sonic journey shaped by the raw, living nature of modular synthesis.
📒 I also have patches for Make Noise and other synthesizers: https://antonanru.sellfy.store/
🎛 Lately, I’ve been more interested in working with simpler forms rather than complex arrangements in DAW. Semi-modular synths are perfect for this approach. In this case, the arrangement is the patch itself. If it’s well thought out, you can easily play a full track in a specific genre—like ambient or techno—using just that one patch.
📝 I’m curious to hear your thoughts—does this kind of format immerse you in a certain mood or evoke a specific emotion? Or does the sound feel too experimental and harder to connect with?
I’d really appreciate any feedback. Enjoy listening!"
Dark DB-01 drones with 100% resonance (no talk)
video upload by Richard DeHove
"This began as a lengthy blather and demo of the Boss RT-2 ensemble pedal. That's the pedal designed as a Leslie effect emulation promising gorgeous swooshes and modulation. But as Bilbo Baggins warned (if I recall the quote correctly): "It's a dangerous business Frodo, switching on your synth. You play a single note, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to."
So here all that remains of my sumptuous and detailed RT-2 demo is a rather dark, dirty, and meandering resonant dronefest. I blame the RT-2 of course. I was testing the effect on a poly synth and I was horrified that it seemed to be sucking all the bottom end away. Surely that couldn't be right I thought. So, purely as a test, I plugged in the trusty DB-01. That's all it took. The RT-2's tube saturation was engaged, the DB-01 resonance cranked, and beautiful harmonics cascaded out.
As usual there is absolutely no DAW processing on the DB-01 sound. The vocal samples were obviously added afterwards with some Valhalla delay. DB-01 delay is from the Boss SDE-3.
Many thanks to my kind patrons who keep this channel ad-free

"quick demo to showcase the Zoom ER-200 analog BBD delay and spring reverb currently for sale.
Unit was slightly modded to double the original delay max time.
Synth used is the Realistic Concermate MG-1 by Moog"

"rare made in Japan analog BBD and spring reverb. It was also sold as Deki or Cosmic AE-7000 and is quite similar to the Evans Echopet 250 / Rolling Rec 4.
The EQ (tone) is applied to the preamp too so can be used to shape the sound of the input source even without effect, and the delay sound passes through the reverb tank, so even when echo volume is down but if there are some repeats, the delay sound will pass throuhg the reverb. This can give some nice results.
Quite lo-fi sounding, bit noisy but great on synths, check the demo I made.
The unit was modded to double the max delay time.
Everything is working as it should. Input gain is quite sensitive, even in instrument input so you'd better lower the output volume of your source to get the best S/N ratio without clipping."

BOUCAN as Wavefolder & Waveshaper | Eurorack Demo Test
video upload by SOVAGE ENGINEERING
"A quick one-take video showing BOUCAN, being used as an odd wavefolder / waveshaper instead of its noise generator usual duties.
No editing, no cuts, just raw sound exploration.
If you like this format, let me know in the comments! It’ll motivate me to upgrade my video gear and make a lot more demos like that one with different modules."
