Intellijel Atlantis Modification Guide: How to Give the 'Mod' Slider Finer Controls

video upload by Lido Pigeon

"The Intellijel Atlantis is a truly great synthesizer and one of my all time favourites. However, I've always found it incredibly difficult to dial in a slight vibrato, without using external attenuation. After reaching out to Intellijel, I was guided about how I could possibly go about changing this.

The modification is not a massive one but it does make it much easier to dial in those sounds. It may be possible to get even finer adjustment with a different value resistor (I used a 2k one here) but this one works fine for my needs.

If you're thinking of trying it yourself, it's a fairly easy mod with a very easy soldering job. The only tricky bit was easing off the back panel but as long as you're gentle and take your time it should be fine.

Many thanks to Danjel van Tijn of Intellijel for all his help and assistance with this.

Organ demo 19/20: Elgam Ringo and Hohner bass pedals

video upload by organfairy

"Some people might argue that the Elgam Ringo is not exactly an organ, but it was sold as such, though back in 1978 everything that was polyphonic and had a divider based tone generator was generally considered an organ. (I will probably get mutilated by a mob of angry Polymoog owners now.)

It doesn't have a bass section, which I find quite odd given that it has a drum machine. I would rather have had a bass section. Therefore I am using it together with the mysterious Hohner bass pedals - mysterious because I seem to be the only person in the universe who has this set: Nobody seems to know anything about it.

Because this organ is very basic - five rhythms and four voices - I have made this demo shorter than the others, so there are only 5 songs against the usual 6-8.

The songs are:
Pennies from heaven (John Burke / Arthur Johnston)
Den rige og den fattige (Gustav Winckler / Bent Werther)
Mormors kolonihavehus (Erik Clausen / Leif Sylvester Petersen)
Tanze mit mir in den Morgen (Kurt Hertha / Kurt Göetz)
Wolgalied (Franz Lehar)"

M8 Tracker Model:02 MIDI SYNC with MU15 : Stroll 2025-09-15 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"A piece created with ‪@Dirtywave‬ M8 Tracker Model:02 and YAMAHA MU15. Electronica where repeating phrases gradually transform through filtering and glitch effects.

The MU15 is sequenced from the M8 via MIDI, with its output processed through ‪@strymon‬ NIGHTSKY for reverb and filtering.

The M8’s output is routed into the ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ MOOD MKII, where micro-loops are used to glitch the phrases."
