"The Yamaha SY35 is a digital vector synthesizer from the early ’90s that combines FM and sample-based AWM synthesis into an expressive, performance-friendly keyboard. With its real-time vector joystick, players can dynamically blend between four sound sources to create rich, evolving textures, perfect for ambient, synth pop, or cinematic soundscapes.

This unit is in excellent condition, fully functional, and cosmetically clean.

Key Features:

61-note velocity-sensitive keyboard
2 FM + 2 AWM sound source layers per patch
Real-time vector joystick for dynamic blending
Built-in effects including chorus and reverb
32-note polyphony
MIDI I/O and data storage via cartridge
Condition Notes:

All keys, buttons, and the vector joystick function perfectly
Display is bright and clear
Cosmetic condition is excellent with minimal wear
Though sometimes overshadowed by its more complex relatives, the SY35 has a sound all its own - glassy, shifting, and rich with movement. It’s a fantastic choice for anyone exploring digital synthesis with a hands-on twist.

30% of proceeds benefit the Bob Moog Foundation."

"The Alpha Juno-1 (1985–1988) is Roland’s compact follow-up to the legendary Juno line, bringing classic analog warmth into a streamlined design. Famous for its lush chorus and the iconic “Hoover” sound, this synth remains a favorite for both vintage collectors and modern producers looking for character.

Key features:

6-voice polyphony with one DCO + sub-oscillator per voice
24 dB/oct analog resonant low-pass filter
Onboard chorus, portamento, chord memory, and transpose
64 user + 64 preset patches, cassette backup
MIDI In/Out/Thru for modern integration
This unit functions normally and shows no serious cosmetic issues except for a small 1” crack above one of the rear panel screws; not too noticeable. A great opportunity to own one of Roland’s most accessible and iconic mid-’80s instruments.

Note: 30% of proceeds benefit the Bob Moog Foundation."

"Something to psych you up for Halloween. I made a creepy ethereal soundscape with the Stylophone CPM DS-2 drone synth and the Walrus Audio Qi Etherealizer pedal to add chorus, delay, cloud grain FX and reverb. Enjoy!"

SynTesla VCO Hz-OSC560 from Hans Zimmer's Giorgio III

video upload by SynTesla

"Here is a short demo of the Hz-OSC560 oscillator, the same one found in Hans Zimmer's gigantic synthesiser ‘Giorgio III’. Here I am making a quick hard sync patch of two oscillators.
Please forgive the poor musical performance."

A quick Caladan update: current state of UI

video upload by Isla Instruments

"As a follow up to the update I gave on our forum a couple of weeks back
https://forum.islainstruments.com/t/a...

I will not be around for the next 4-5 weeks and so just wanted to leave a progress update here, since I am doing the UI firmware for the Caladan myself now.

The populating of synth parameter data is now complete for the front panel, with automatic, dynamic parameter mapping. Menus and general machine navigation is now in place.
I've been working on a dynamic, automatic GUI that allows synth panels for cards, plugins and even external midi instruments to be created and edited, shared etc.
In the future this panel feature can import graphics, different knob styles etc to create nice GUIs for anything on the synth.

more to follow as soon as I can. thanks for your patience.
Big love
Brad!"

"Luminance is a shimmer reverb plugin for KORG prologue, minilogue xd, NTS-1, NTS-1 mkII, NTS-3 and microKORG2. It’s a novel take on this highly coveted effect: an ethereal reverb whose tail gradually pitch-shifts itself upwards or downwards. The plugin is based on a feedback delay network with a built-in a granular pitch shifter and chorus-style modulation. Thanks to the very unique and meticulously executed tuning of its individual components, Luminance gently follows the original musical content and creates a rich background sound layer – reminiscent of a gorgeous, dreamy symphony of strings or pipe organs."

"Hollow is a vast space reverb plugin for KORG prologue, minilogue xd, NTS-1, NTS-1 mkII, NTS-3 and microKORG2. At its core is a feedback delay network – with as many as 64 connections – that produces a truly lush, almost three-dimensional reverb sound. With all settings maxed out, this engine is capable of tail times that exceed several minutes, while still having a smooth and naturally decay. The algorithm also features our trademark unison-style modulation via three phase-shifted sine oscillators, adding highly melodic depth and richness."

Click the auction link on top when you get there for additional listings.

"This is one of the rarest of Waldorf products. The Rack Attack is a dedicated percussion synth based on the Micro Q's structure but offering a very different slant https://waldorfmusic.com/legacy-rack-attack/ This example is in very good condition, with just a few superficial marks. check the photos. The backlight is very good - see one of the pics. The external UK PSU has the earth pin removed which might seem a bit alarming, but I asked Waldorf at the time I bought it and it was done in factory apparently!"
