"The psychedelic The 3FX

After sculpting sound in space with The 3B, The 3FX explores the creation of sound spaces capable of transcending all your instruments.

ARCHITECTURE

The heart of The 3FX is built around three fully independent effect voices, each based on a coherent 8-module architecture:

Two delays per voice, usable in series or in parallel
An advanced, progressive feedback path up to controlled self-oscillation
An analog 12 dB/octave multimode VCF (BP, LP, HP) to optionally process the audio spectrum, both on the delay lines and on the dry signal
Independent levels for the dry signal and each delay line
A panorama control to position the voice within the stereo field.
The stereo input signal is distributed across the three voices: left / left + right / right. A mono signal is distributed across all three voices.
Each voice can be used alone, stacked or combined with the others to create textures impossible to achieve with a conventional delay.

TTA/Buchla 248t MARF Testing

video upload by peff

"Testing the TipTop Audio / Buchla 248t module. The 248t has eurorack level CV/Pulse outputs as well as the ART serial data outputs to drive modules that will receive ART note data. This configuration has a TTA 259t controlled by the ART signals and the Buchla 208c Easel Command controlled by CV/Gate (v/oct scaling).

The module is pretty massive - 72hp."

Behringer BMX - What the F...lol

video upload by Noir Et Blanc Vie - After Hours

"Subjective opinions within, those who do not understand subjective opinion may be excused lol

So the Behringer BMX, honestly, do you really care what I think? WELL, here's my thoughts, it's IMPOSSIBLE to freaking use something like this on the floor of a convention without help and NOBODY was trying to help me haha. That said, sound wise, oh for sure, it's solid, 100%. Dare I say "good", BUT, dang, everything is good these days. Gear is just a tool, but I think this could be useful, more useful than the Linn from the B. Would I buy the BMX, absolutely not, never hahaha. That's becasue I'm FLUSH with drum machines, and straight up, if I'm working with an artist or my own albums for drums specifically I'm ITB. Tempest is still the absolute king, if you have a TR-8s, Tempest, uhhh, Drumlogue, Alphabase, I mean geez a number of other drum machines you're good, you don't need to buy more space fillter, you can make music without this, TRUST me. BUT, it does sound good, the bass drum is no Alphabase though, no freakin way.

Korg Phase8 - No Talking, Euclidean Workout

video upload by Oscillator Sink

"Check out my full demo/review of the Phase8 here: • Hacking the Korg Phase8 to uncover NEW SOU... [posted here]

Inspired by Red Means Jeremycording's Phase8 video, I had to get Euclidean with the Phase8.

The Phase8 is tuned to a Lydian Dominant scale (C D E F# G A Ab C) and it is being sequenced by the Syntakt, using its powerful Euclidean track mode. I'm using MIDI LFOs to modulate the envelope parameter of each voice on the Phase8, which is running through the Syntakt's FX and master drive. I'm also doing some tempo-locked, per-step random modulation of the panning of the mono input to give the impression of a little more stereo movement. Lovely.

Transparency notice: Korg kindly sent over the Phase8 to make videos about. They haven't requested or been granted any oversight of the contents of the videos. I haven't otherwise been paid, but I do get to keep the unit shown in this video."
