Why the Leviasynth Might Be the Last Synth You Ever Need

video upload by Scott's Synth Stuff

"The new ASM Leviasynth is finally arriving, and there are a lot of questions about what this powerful synthesizer can actually do. In this video I answer the most common questions from viewers and the synth community — covering balanced outputs, the analog filter, oscillator behavior, envelopes, signal path, keybed feel, firmware updates, and more.

You'll hear demonstrations showing low-end compensation with resonance, self-resonating analog filters, oscillator envelopes, FM modulation tricks, and even how to turn the Leviasynth into a massive drone machine. If you're considering buying the Leviasynth or want to understand how its architecture works, this deep dive Q&A will help you get the most out of it.

Whether you're a synth beginner, sound designer, or longtime Hydrasynth fan, this video explains how the Leviasynth works and what makes it one of the most powerful modern synths available.

Watch to learn how this instrument can go from classic analog-style sounds to complex evolving textures with ease."

One of my favorite analog sequencer got better - Verbos VMS 16 Demo

video upload by Stazma

"Support on Patreon to get samples from this session: / stazma

Today we are going to check outthe Voltage Multi Stage 16 by Verbos Electronics!
I've been a mega fan for years of the original Multi Stage (8 steps) released in 2014 and I was super happy to see this new bigger version with many upgrades such as the stage select inputs and revamped 'stage adress' mode.
I'll show you some cool patches with this thing and I hope you'll have fun.

There's been a lot of talk about technical issue with this module online and I'd like to report that mine works correctly. I got it from Verbos to do the video and I had some issue with the power of the Black Box case that was fixed very quickly. Other than that so far so good."

Equations: Graphing Calculator Synthesizer by Decent Samples

Playing around with the Equations Synth video upload by Peter Kirn

"I am not going to write a Kraftwerk reference here.

This is too awesome. Review -- and more on the TI calculator hardware and how it's been used for music:

Where mathematics meets music: a unique synthesizer plugin that puts the power of mathematical expression directly at your fingertips. Instead of selecting from preset waveforms, you write your own equations to generate completely unique sounds.

Equation Synth is a unique synthesizer plugin that puts the power of mathematical expression directly at your fingertips. Instead of selecting from preset waveforms, you write your own equations to generate completely unique sounds. Whether you’re a sound designer seeking unprecedented sonic possibilities or a music producer looking for fresh, distinctive textures, Equation Synth opens up an infinite universe of waveforms limited only by your imagination.

Comprehensive Modulation System

Bring your equations to life with an extensive modulation matrix featuring:

Modulation Sources:

3 Envelopes (ADSR) with tempo sync options
3 LFOs with multiple waveform shapes (sine, square, saw), tempo sync, and delay
Note Velocity for dynamic expression
Modwheel for performance control
MPE Support: Timbre and Pressure for expressive multi-dimensional control
Modulation Destinations:

Route modulation to virtually any parameter including:

Volume, Pitch (Coarse/Fine)
All Equation Parameters (A, B, C, D)
Graph parameters (Scale X/Y, Offset X)
Filter Cutoff and Resonance
Noise Level
Effect parameters (Chorus, Delay, Reverb, and more)

Effects Chain

Polish your equation-based sounds with a professional effects suite:

Delay: Stereo offset, feedback, tempo-synced timing
Harmonic Reverb: Room size, damping, and mix controls
Chorus: Modulation depth and rate
Tape Simulator: Wow, Flutter, Saturation, as well as various tape player emulations
Intuitive Interface Design

Inspired by classic calculator aesthetics, Equation Synth features:

Eden Grey - Itinera demo

video upload by Euterpe Synth Lab

"In this video Eden Grey dives deep into the unconventional territories of our latest module. While Itinera can be your go-to for standard patches, it truly shines when pushed to its limits. From glitchy textures to unpredictable sonic landscapes, hard distortions and disturbing screams, see how it handles the creative side of modular synthesis."

In this video, I break down my favorite sound design tricks to make a synth sound evil, dark and meaner. From subtle detuning and dissonance to modulation and instability, these techniques can transform any synth into an industrial machine. If you’re into industrial, EBM, Nine Inch Nails–style sound design, or dark cinematic synths, these ideas will help you create heavier and more unsettling sounds in your productions.

Asynchronous Minimal Ambient with OP-1 field and norns shield | Confluence 2026-03-06 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"A piece created with ‪@teenageengineering‬ OP-1 field, ‪@KORG_INC‬ NTS-1, and norns shield. It is minimal ambient where overlapping asynchronous phrases gradually change.

On the OP-1 field, a 38 step phrase runs with the ENDLESS sequencer while reverb from ‪@strymon‬ blueSky is applied.

On the NTS-1, a square wave tone shaped with a filter is processed with delay and reverb, and sequenced by the SQ-1.

On the norns shield, a piano phrase is recorded into Graintopia with slight distortion and processed with granular synthesis. Delay and reverb from ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ LOST+FOUND are applied.

The three sound sources run without synchronization. Their timing differences create subtle changes in the evolving sound texture."

Donner Essential L1 - sounds, sequences & sketches

video upload by The Synth King

"Hi,
I had the pleasure to test the Donner Essential L1, a very powerful monophonic analog synthesizer quite similar to the Roland SH-101. I made some sounds, sequences and synth sketches. I used Valhalla Massive as delay and reverb. Enjoy the music !
