Quick Test: Vermona meloDICER Playing A Mellotron M4000D

video upload by John L Rice

"I was asked months ago how well this would work and didn’t get around to trying it until now, and it works great ! 😎👍 Besides the meloDICER and M4000D there is some Roland Integra7 piano mixed in half way through and the usual effects (Strymon BigSky, Timeline, and Lexicon MX400)"

PERfourMER MKII Sync Session #1

video upload by vermonagear

"In this video, we’ll take a look at the PERfourMER MKII’s oscillator sync feature. This allows the VCOs to synchronize with the previous channel’s oscillator, creating sounds that can range from “cool and edgy” to “wake the neighbors.”

We’ve set up hard sync between the PERfourMER MKII’s channels one and two, and three and four. Only the synced channels (two and four) are in the spotlight here-their sync masters are quietly working hard in the background, like roadies at a rock concert.

We’ll run two simple MIDI sequences from **Logic Pro**, adding a little stock delay and reverb for flavor. First, you’ll hear channel two with a mellow triangle waveform, then channel four kicks in with a classic square wave-perfect for that sync sizzle. Finally, both channels join forces while we tweak a few knobs to keep things interesting."

CA Highway 29 Lakeport and Upper Lake

video upload by CatSynth TV

"We take a drive along California Highway 29 in Lake County. Highway 29 wraps around the western side of Clear Lake, and is a freeway through the city of Lakeport. We start a bit to the south of this freeway segment, at a junction with CA 175, and continue past the freeway segment to the terminus of CA 29 at CA 20 in the community of Upper Lake. Along the way we see the landscape of Clear Lake and the surrounding volcanic peaks.

Lakeport happens to be the home of Metasonix, so we feature our Metasonix modules heavily in the music, including the 'flute-like' melodic segments as well as many electronic and distortion effects throughout the video. We also use a 29edo (29 divisions of the octave) scale on the pitched instruments, for a unique sound.

Instruments used:
Metasonix R53 waveshaper/Ringmod
Metasonix R54 Supermodule VCO/VCF
Metasonix RK5 Dual Low Pass Gate
OddSound MTS ESP (microtuning plugins)
Arturia Pigments, Jup-8 V, Delay Brigade
Dawesome MYTH
Cherry Audio PS-3300 and Stardust 201
EastWest Stormdrum 2 & 3
Haaken ContiuuMini
Strymon Starlab

And as with all flagships by TE, it's safe to assume there will be many years of quality updates over the years."
