Aggressive Sounds From an Aggressive Synth : Korg MonoPoly
video upload by HanzVolt
"I basically use my MonoPoly as a nasty angry monosynth. Maybe some MPs out there like to make pad sounds but mine doesn't like pads... Who am I to argue. Original music and most sounds are MonoPoly #synthrenegades #korgmonopoly #korg"
Oberheim FVS 1 - Song Demo and Random Repair Pictures
video upload by mysterycircuits
"Oberheim FVS-1. Repaired over the span of one year! Here's a demo I made after the repair. Drums are from an Ace-Tone FR-70, and all the rest of the tracks are the Oberheim. Stereo panning from the Oberheim's Mixer module. Pictures are various shots I took to document the repairs.

Ampulla - Noise box/Drone voice
video upload by DecadeBridge
"Jump to the timestamps below.
Ampulla is a contact mic instrument that comes with interchangeable plates and all the hardware required to put together your own noise box. It also features an external input for a contact mic or to use the preamp as a subtle distortion for other equipment.
Ampulla also has a drone voice that can be switched on and off. This is also affected by the onboard contact mic or incoming external signal.
Ampulla's first output is a mix of the contact mic and drone voice. It's second output is solely for the drone voice.

Cherry Audio | Filtomika - A Filter to Atomize Your Sound
video upload by Cherry Audio
Press release follows:
December 17, 2024 -- Cherry Audio has unveiled its latest music production innovations, the Filtomika Effect Plugin and the Cherry Audio/MRB Filtomika Module Collection for Voltage Modular, building on the legendary Polivoks synthesizer and the multi-mode filter from Cherry Audio’s recently released Atomika synthesizer.
Filtomika Filter Effect Plugin
The Filtomika plugin offers an entirely new experience for audio processing. With Mark Barton’s expertly crafted circuit-modeled DSP, Filtomika extends the sonic boundaries beyond Vladimir Kuzmin’s original programmable op-amp filter design with features like:
Extended waveforms for its syncable LFO modulator: ramp, sawtooth, triangle, square, noise, and random (sample & hold).
Expanded filter response modes, including highpass, notch, and peak, in addition to standard lowpass and bandpass modes.
Atomika’s unique Starve, Filter Drive, and Amp Drive controls for a broader creative sound palette.
An envelope follower that allows the relative amplitude of input signals to control cutoff frequency for wicked auto-wah effects.
The Filtomika plugin allows users to process a wide range of audio sources, such as drums, guitars, synthesizers, and vocals. Whether aiming for subtle alterations or radical, otherworldly results, Filtomika delivers.
Additional features include a user-friendly preset browser with over 30 production-ready presets. It offers comprehensive MIDI control and DAW automation, including intuitive MIDI mapping capabilities. Filtomika is suitable for both mono and stereo sources, as an insert or bus effect, and the plugin is provided in AU, VST, VST3, AAX, and standalone formats.
Filtomika is available for just $19 at cherryaudio.com and from authorized resellers. Registered owners of Atomika purchasing Filtomika directly from Cherry Audio receive an exclusive 20% discount ($15) at checkout. A free 30-day trial ensures users can explore all that Filtomika offers risk-free.
Filtomika Module Collection for Voltage Modular
Also available is the Cherry Audio/MRB Filtomika Module Collection, designed exclusively for Cherry Audio’s popular Voltage Modular virtual modular platform. The collection includes:
Filtomika Module and Poly Filtomika Module, with poly-style I/O for deeper modulations.
Over 50 presets designed for patch categories like Arpeggios, Basses, Pads, Leads, Polys, and more.
Available exclusively through Cherry Audio for only $15, the Filtomika Module Collection provides a flexible way to integrate Mark Barton’s astounding Atomika filter designs into the modular workflow.
Cherry Audio’s new Filtomika releases are ideal for producers and sound designers looking to reshape their sound with the unpredictable results found in Atomika, already celebrated for its grit, character, and powerful sonic impact. Whether integrating Filtomika into a DAW-based production or using it in the virtual modular format, these innovative tools promise to bring similar dynamic and savage results to the broader sonic world beyond synthesizers.
Visit cherryaudio.com for additional product details and system requirements, as well as an extensive collection of preset sound demos for both Filtomika and the Cherry Audio/MRB Filtomika Module Collection for Voltage Modular.

Audrey II by Synthux Academy
video upload by Cinematic Laboratory
"The Audrey II is not a eurorack module, but it's 3U and it fits perfectly. It's line level but I had no problems using it in the modular case. Audrey refers to the man-eating plant in the Little Shop of Horrors, but it doesn't sound horrific at all. If you love the sound of feedback. It's advertised as a Horrorscape synth so it can easily score a scary movie. If you're a channel regular you may know I love feedback patching and I have a 'cybernetics' series.
Audrey uses a complex structure of noise, feedback, filters, possibly a bit of physical modelling or resonating, more feedback and finally a pitch shifting filter that can also self-oscillate. So it basically creates self-oscillating harmonies. Personally, I think it sounds just beautiful and I can listen to it for hours.
But after 24 hours you may want to take it a few steps further and the modular is just the perfect enviroment to do just that.
The Audrey is made by the Synthux Academy. I't a non-profit foundation with a mission to build unique instruments, to help them play, build and code them yourself, to provide online masterclasses and beginner's courses, etc. It doesn't come cheap when you order it built, but the DIY kit is super easy to solder (anyone can do it) and it's great fun to play. Obviously all revenue goes back into the foundation and Audrey II is an important step towards a future. So it's been an honour to support it. Audrey II is not for everyone but if you're aspiring to program your own DSP modules or just 'borrow' other people's code and hack a few lines of code, Synthux offers great resources to get started. This video is sponsored, but it's sponsored by me because I believe in this stuff. It helps me to make special videos.
I will definitely explore the buidling blocks of Audrey and try to find out if it's possible to 'make' one with existing modules or VCV. I'll also investigate bit of Daisy Seed programming, and maybe I'll succeed in porting a Versio firmware into something I've always wanted. The Reversio..."
