"A collection of 24 songs/presets for the Sonicware Liven Evoke. The patterns can be downloaded from my Patreon ( / 24-new-songs-147901371 , where you'll also find some notes on some of the songs.
A lot of my music feels to me like a soundtrack to an imaginary movie, so for the visuals for this one, I figured "hey, the music set is about an hour—so why not just pair it with a movie?" And since (a) I don't want to get in trouble for copyright infringement and (b) I have a preoccupation with "past futures" (a sense of nostalgia for the future that was once imagined by the past and that no longer seems possible), this led me to look for public domain Cold War era films, which led me to this one: Battle Beyond the Sun (1962), an Americanized version of Nebo Zovyot (1959), a Soviet science fiction. The person tasked with Americanizing it was a young film student named Francis Ford Coppola.

"I’ve been working on a VST3/AU/LV2 plugin port of the standalone Fasttracker II (from 1996) originally made by Triton Productions and now maintained by 8bitbubsy. It’s free and available for MacOS (both modern and 10.14+ (Mojave)), Windows and Linux. It is a complete rewrite of bubsy’s version, but is still a fork of his work."

I have installed the Tauntek firmware, allowing realtime MIDI control, especially great with the included Stereoping Controller.
The Stereoping Controller has an overlay of the G8-P edition glued and the bit 01 overlay is only thrown above, which works top notch as is and makes it even easier to dust clean (I have some other editions overlays I may include for free if interested)."
