Quick modulation editing: you can now simply click and drag your modulation source to its destination, and quickly adjust its depth by hovering over the parameter.
Quicker feature navigation: Flick between options in an instant for any of Pigments’ multimode modules with added left-right buttons.
LFO presets: Pigments’ LFOs now come with 6 familiar waveform presets, from sine to random.
FX & Seq bypass: You can now quickly bypass both the FX and Seq sections from the Synth and Play Mode views.
New sync modes: Create dynamic rhythmic ideas by blurring the lines between straight, triplet, and dotted sync within Pigments’ modulators.
MTS-ESP microtuning compatibility: Pigments is now compatible with ODDSound’s microtuning software MTS-ESP, designed in conjunction with Aphex Twin.

Wavetable engine: Sprinkle some warbling tremolo movement and metallic character by swapping frequency modulation for the new Ring Mod feature, and harness a new Pulse Width mode for the Phase Transformation section
Harmonic engine: Uncover new harmonic territory and pitch alterations
More Unison options: The Unison control is now uniform across all engines, with the addition of a Unison Phase control for Wavetable, Sample, and Harmonic voices.
Modulator Oscillator: Go deeper into the dedicated Mod Osc with Ratio options and an extended hertz range from 0.100 to 20,000.

MS-20 Filter: Unleash deeper bass than ever and crank the grit with the notorious screaming response of the classic MS-20 filter, with HP6 and LP12 modes.
Shimmer Reverb: Inject cathedral-in-outer-space ambience and cinematic detail into any sound with the Shimmer Reverb effect, complete with 2 octaves of pitch-shift and built-in modulation.
Super Unison: Mimic ultra-wide ensemble timbres with a single voice using Super Unison, a swaying chorus-like effect that detunes, spreads, and enlivens any sound.
Effects & filter improvements: Pigments’ Bitcrusher has doubled in size with Jitter, Scale, and extra Downsampling options, the Jup-8 V filter now has FM control, and both the Multi Filter & Distortion algorithms feature a Notch Filter mode.

"A repost of a video by Daniele Chierichetti demonstrating lead sounds and showing some of the sonic possibilities of an AJH Synth Eurorack modular synth system. The standard MiniMod voice forms the basis of the system featured here, and this voice is directly based on the original R.A.Moog version of the Minimoog, and as such it is capable of the same classic lead sounds, the same warmth, punch, and character. However, because it is modular, it takes this voice way beyond anything it was originally capable of, opening it up to the now huge Eurorack universe, including a wealth of modules by AJH Synth.
These high-end modules are mostly based on classic vintage designs, some of which are very difficult to obtain nowadays, but brought firmly into the modern Eurorack era by a wealth of connectivity, functionality, and reliability, that simply didn't exist 'back in the day'. Also, some modern, digital modulation modules compliment the range, hugely expanding it's sonic scope."

"Today's the day for the big Arturia announcements - and the one we have most experience of is the new MiniFreak which is an expanded MicroFreak - (the Algorithmic Synthesizer with multiple oscillator types).

The MiniFreak doubles up the Oscillators to two - with 20 oscillator types on board, keeps the multi-mode analog filter and adds 3, quality, digital FX. It also has a physical 37 key keybed (short travel) with aftertouch. There's two control strips which can do pitch/mod or macro 1/2, each with four destinations or a sequencer/gate control for the on board sequencer.

It also comes with a free VST version MiniFreak V

We fully confess that we didn't get the time to do the full review in time for this deadline, but first impressions are pretty positive."

Arturia expands wild hybrid synth range with 6-voice MiniFreak

MiniFreak is a polyphonic hybrid keyboard that combines two digital sound engines with warm analog filters, playful modulation, spontaneous sequencing, and rich stereo effects for sounds that are immediately curious, beautiful, and chaotic in equal measure.

Hybrid polysynth power
MiniFreak’s twin digital sound engines feature over 20 modes, and can be used individually, stacked, or to process each other’s output for unique compound sonic behavior. Its digital voices then collide with analog filters, balancing digital crispness with a rich analog response, complete with 6-voice polyphony, 12-voice paraphony, monophonic, and unison configurations.
