"The Octatrack is just being used as a mixer/effect unit and sending midi to the ER-1. The ER-1 is sending short trigs (closed high hat) on the right channel to the SQ-1 to the sync in. The SQ-1 is gating the 0-Coast and trigging the S-143 4-step sequencer. The SQ-1 is pitching the 0-Coast and the S-143 is pitching the Braids. I am ripping off mylarmelodies' recent "modular diary" videos on some of these setup ideas."

"This video shows some of the sounds that can be created by folding and dividing simple sine waves with the TipTop Audio Fold Processor eurorack module.

The Fold Processor from Tiptop Audio is a wavefolder, or wave multiplier complete with voltage control. Along with this is a sub-octave generator capable of providing /1, /2, /4, /8 subdivisions, all of which are mixed out of the Subdiv Output. The wave folder section can take clean sine and triangle waves and morph them into beefy and rich waveshapes unlike any other. The output of the sub-octave generator provides all squarewaves. For getting timbres that no sawtooth can create, the Fold Processor is there.

"In this video I pair the Expressive E Touche controller with a eurorack modular. I'm using the 4 CV outputs on the back of the Touche to modulate various parameters like the LFO speed on the Make Noise Maths and the various parameters of the Make Noise Morphagene. I also turn the Touche into a gate generator using Maths.

The basic patch involves a Z3000 oscillator (TipTop Audio) run through the Fold Processor and Z2040 filter. The Z8000 sequencer is run through a Quantizer and everything is controlled by the Make Noise Tempi which triggers the Z8000 and a Z4000 ADSR envelope generator."

"This is just a simple ping patch with some tricky modulations.
Livewire Vulcan and the Turing Machine+Pulses provide multiple clocks for the different rows of the TipTop Z8000 Matrix sequencer.
Serge VCFQ and Serge Wave Multipliers are the audio generator and processor.
The Z8000 controls the patch...
Horizontal Snake sequencer , fed into the QuantiZer , controls the frequency of the VCFQ , that is pinged by the Turing machine pulse.
Row 2 modulates the clock of the Vulcan
Row 3 controls the direction of the Vertical snake sequencer
Row A controls the amount of Fold of the Serge Multipliers.
Vertical snake Sequencer controls the VCFQ VC Q

The manual tweaking are limited to :
the VCFQ VC Q to achive a different decay time
the manual amount of Fold in the Wave Multipliers"

Z8k is great for that: running two separately reset sequences on Z8000 - vertical 7 step is playing ONE loaded with DOTS sound filtered by Z2040 and opened by a couple of Z4000, horizontal 8 step is playing Z3000 (saw) running through Tiptop Fold Processor and R*S VQVCF again governed by a couple of Z4000s.

"This is a tutorial of the TipTop Audio Fold Processor eurorack module. This is a type of distortion or wave shaping module. A wave folder folds waves over onto themselves instead of hard clipping them. This results in odd harmonics being created which yields some interesting timbres. The Fold Processor also has a divider circuit which signals pass through after being folded. The divider circuit has an individual output jack which outputs a combination of square waves at four different octaves. There are two inputs for audio and CV controls for both the fold and inject parameters. In this video I go over the basics of the front panel then proceed by demoing various signals such as sine waves and even drum loops from the TipTop One sampler."

"Jamming and improvising on my eurorack modular synth. There are few different jams in this one. I ran the whole thing through an OTO Machines BAM for delicious reverb. The main sound sources are the TipTop Z3000 and One. I then feed those through the 2040 and VCF-74 filters. The Z3000 is also run through the Fold Processor. The main sequencer is the Z8000 which is first quantized with the Quantizer before being fed to control the Z3000. The Make Noise Tempi is driving the Z8000 and the Z4000 envelope generator which is turn is modulating the Z2040. The Make Noise Maths also helps to modulate the Fold Processor parameters. The drums and percussion sounds are a combination of the Peaks in drum mode and the One sampler.
