"Here's a live performance featuring my Drambo "haQ box mk VII" Groovebox. Drambo is in my mind one of the absolute best music apps to have come out in 2020. For those of you who dont know, Drambo from BeepStreet is an extremely powerful modular synthesizer, with a simplified routing system and Elektron-esque sequencer all in one. "Arturia recently published a MicroFreak synthesizer firmware update with a that includes a new Vocoder mode and I'm trying to find a good microphone to use with it. Now this new firmware update is is free and it works with the older original version of the MicroFreak, pretty sweet. Arturia also released a new white version of the MicroFreak that comes with a gooseneck microphone so new users are have their vocoder action covered. Us older MicroFreak owners though, we have to find another mic option for now and it turns out that the mic input is of a TRRS type, so we might already have what we need at home."

"OP-Z dub music! All sounds heard in this track is coming from the OPZ by Teenage Engineering. The Audio was recorded directly into the iOS camera app through an apple Lightning to USB (CCK) dongle. I also pre-recorded my vocals with my iPad. I then processed the audio in Cubasis before sampling it directly into the op-z through the CCK.

The video material was captured using an iPhone 6s and I edited the video with LumaFusion on my iPad Pro."

Pure Acid is an Amazing Groovebox for iPad and iPhone and it packs a very intuitive Sequencer that has been tailored for ease of use, instant inspiration and all-nighter jams. This is without a doubt one of the most fun Music Apps I’ve had the privilege of working with during 2019. In this video I’m diving very deep into the Bassline Sequencer, because apart from the awesome FX section, the Sequencer really is a gem in this one. Seems like 303 day swung around and came right back again.

"Shockwave Synthesizer for iOS by Kai Aras is a Modular Monophonic Synth and It sounds great! It uses a Phase Distortion Synthesis engine that gives it a very unique character. I would know because I’ve made a huge chuck of the factory sound presets, included with the synth! This synth is really powerful and it has a cross modulation section that gives it the ability to do FM, PM, AM and Ring Modulation synthesis.

Shockwave also features a Sequencer that can run in various different and interesting modes it’s more than just a 16 step sequencer. Btw the Reverb in this thing sounds incredibly lush and not metallic at all. But it does not end here. In this video I am going over everything inside Shockwave and I’m playing some of the sounds that I’ve made. So kick back and enjoy the show!"

DUB Jam with UNO Drum Volca Bass and UNO Synth | haQ attaQ

"Jamming some DUB music with UNO Drum and UNO Synth by IK Multimedia and a KORG volca bass. It’s all being recorded into my iPad inside AUM where I’m also using BLEASS Delay to dub out the volca bass.

I’ve got the UNO Drum audio output daisy-chained through the UNO Synth. The UNO Synth output is being routed to the Novation AudioHUB (discontinued) Left channel (mono). The KORG volca bass audio output is routed to the AudioHUB right channel (mono). The AudioHUB is connected to the iPad Pro 12.9” (2015) with an Apple Lightning to USB3 adapter. I’m using bus channels in AUM to route audio from the UNO combo to their own reverb fx channel (EOS2). The KORG volca bass gets two buss channels, one for a reverb (EOS2) and the other for a delay (BLEASS Delay)."
