This piece was in development for the last few weeks. This take was our last practice run before a performance at NYU on May 10th, 2023. The performance was rushed, and we were only given approximately 10 minutes to play it, which is significantly shorter than we prepared, so, therefore, we are putting out this version instead. You'll find a brief description of each of the 3 movements in this piece at the beginning of the video. Feel free to pause in order to read without rushing. Enjoy!

Made this patch while testing a new single-case configuration of my system. Here are the modules I'm using starting from
the top left:
- Expert Sleepers ES-9
- Instruō/ Divkid øchd
- Plum Audio OCP
- ALM Pam's New Workout with Dusty Clouds alternate black panel
- Malekko Varigate 8+
- Qu-bit Tone

the bottom left:

1U row just has 2 USB powers for the external (in this case red) lights, and another light that I am not using in this patch, as well as 2 Mosaic Buffed Mults. The rest are various black blank panels.

"Eurorack modular synthesizer performance.
Variations on 3 different 4 note sequences.
Moog Subharmonicon generates the 2 primary rhythmic sequences, running through Strymon Magneto. Sub 1 of the first sequence runs through its own output, then through 2hp MMF and Make Noise Optomix for the rhythmic bass line.
Moog Mother 32 generates the descending drone sequence, which is doubled by Make Noise STO tuned up an octave, both run through Chase Bliss Mood, tuned up a fifth.
Mutable Instruments Rings follows the pitch of the descending sequence, with a bouncing ball rhythmic pattern generated by Make Noise Maths and Function, then run through Make Noise Mimeophon. The drifting harmonic tone on top (unison, +5, +12) is the result of modulating the structure of the Rings sound.
Mutable Instruments Plaits chimes the fifth at the beginning of every 8 bars, as well as being trigger by the end of rise on the Function.
Drums are coming from Mosaic Bass, Snare & Hi-Hat modules, sequenced by Intellijel Steppy 1U. Decay on Hi-Hat is a 7 step pattern generated by Mutable Instruments Stages.
The volume and filter cutoff for the drums and rhythmic bass are controlled by Make Noise Pressure Points, with decay slew controlled by a second Make Noise Maths.
Lots of modulation across different parameters is generated by Ornament & Crime and Qu-Bit Chance.

"I wanted to see what I could do with the Mosaic 1u 'Sample|Hold' module and came up with this interesting patch where is it changing the delay time on every hit of the 'Plucked String' module.

A different random delay time FOR EACH NOTE!

I thought the patch sounded pretty cool, so I'm sharing with you!

This filter sounds fantastic! It comes with LP, BP and HP outputs.

It can be anything from subtle to acidic, screaming and extreme!
It self-oscillates beautifully and can also be used as a melodic oscillator.

In this video, I show many examples of what it sounds like with lots of different source material - so you can get a good idea of what it will do for your system!
