A (Volca) Modular in the Garden

Published on May 29, 2019 Wein Glas

"We had fine weather so it was about time to test the battery powered Korg Volca Modular in the Garden. This time I patched more usual sounds, some might say: musically or even danceable.

But if you watch until the end, you might have the chance to listen to some Weinglas trademark sounds ;-)"

Published on Mar 29, 2019 Wein Glas

"Weinglas plays the new Haken ContinuuMini for the first time. What a wonderful electronic music instrument! The ContinuuMini shares the awesome sound engine with its bigger brother: the Haken Continuum.

This is just me playing Preset 006 ("Long Farewell") in one take. Sound is from the ContinuuMini only. No additional FX or edits."

Westcoast Random? Korg Volca Modular or Buchla?

Published on Mar 14, 2019 Wein Glas

"A self generating patch with feedback use, but without sequencer, edits or additional FX. And with a Buchla 200(e) in the Background ;)

Btw: It is quite difficult to patch the Korg Volca Modular without the sequencer: You lose one envelope for the clock, there could be much more multiples, and another Woggle or Sample and Hold would have been nice.

Here is another Video with the Korg Volca Modular:" [posted here]

Modular Synth Meet Fischbach 2018

Published on May 22, 2018 Wein Glas

"A small town in Germany every year becomes the center of the modular synth scene for a few days. And here is a short video that shows what it is all about: Modular synths, friends, fun, barbecue, and a place called the „Blaue Grotte“!

Thanks to Mic, Tommy and all the great people there!

The soundtrack was made there entirely with a Kilpatrick Modular System with no editing, additional FX or multitracking."

Kozepz and Weinglas at Noodlefest

Published on Oct 17, 2017 Wein Glas

"After an earlier collaboration this year, their album FRNDS, Weinglas and Kozepz got the opportunity to perform a live set together for the very first time at Noodlefest 2017, V2, Rotterdam.

Part 04 - phases and tines (stay tuned for more!)

In these times of often unwanted changes it is good to have something steady: Like friends all over the world. So what can be better than two friends from the Netherlands and Germany collaborating to make international noises for one world. Noisemakers kozepz and weinglas are making the world a better place! Even if this means that we all have to listen to their dark soundscapes and aural pollutions first."

Update on the gear used: "Kozepz and Weinglas making noises with Cocoquantus, Plumbutter, two Hordijk Blippoo boxes, some samples, and a Tetrax!"
