Kinetic is a music instrument inspired by the inside of a maracas, however it is not a percussive instrument. Notes are represented by bouncing balls that make sounds when they hit a wall and gravity is determined by the location of your device, using the accelerometer. "I had the great honor to work on this for the last couple of weeks to create a promo video for the updated version of Tardigrain @humbletune , a lovely granular synth app for iOS. This project included outdoor projections with floating particles in the dark exploring and unveiling the beauty of nature, just like the grains of granular synthesis allow for exploring and unveiling the beauty of sonic landscapes. Next to the video part i created the music using #tardigrain obviously for all the melodic pads and clicks and #hammerhead for the drums."

Nils is a real time sound effect machine with a minimalistic looper. It comes with bitcrush, delay and gain for distortion. "This is my new little project frekvens, a linear frequency shifter and stereo delay for iOS called frekvens. It can be a bit of a quirky app but also quite cool sometimes I think."

"Frekvens is a frequency shifter and delay effect. Unlike a pitch shifter all frequencies are shifted linearly and then fed back into itself using the stereo delay unit. The frequency shifting is achieved with single sideband modulation using a hilbert transform and an infinite impulse response filter for fast computations. Frekvens also comes with a high and low pass filter and a lfo for modulating the delay play head.
