EFM Micro Modular 1.0 Free Synth

available at VST Cafe

"EFM (Electronic For Music) Micro Modular 1.0 is free synth capable of creating some nice analogue type sounds. There are 4 Oscillators, 3 Envelopes, 1 Filter, Arp, Pan control, Chorus and Delay. If you have problems with understanding (in other synths) the whole Modulation Matrix concept then EFM Micro Modular is for you. It's main feature is well designed, easy to learn, modulation matrix."

"Latinsizer : "Celoán"
Album : "110"
Label: "Staticdiscos"

Music by Pepe Mogt
Latinsizer:
atinsizer basically is a bunch of sincroniced drum machines and synths controlled by pepe mogt.
Started around 1999 and with one Album and 12 inch records(ritmo 55 CD and NOMADA EP 12 inch), a combination of the melodic work of early synth Pop classics and the grit of urban Tijuana.

110 is the second latinsizer Album( August 2008) an electronic disco pop digitalized with analog machines. first debut for Static Discos.

Pepe Mogt has released material with his diferent alias on Because Music(france), Nacional Records(US), Palm pictures label (Tijuana Sessions vol 1), Mil records, Sonic 360 and Nettwerk labels, and has also done remixes and colaborations for Ennio Morricone for a Compost Records, Experimental music pioner Pauline Oliveros, Beck, Toby Dammit, Jessie Evans, Lucrecia(Colombia), Lenny kravitz, Rigo Tovar, 1 Giant Leap, Alan Parsons, David J (Love and Rockets) and Mambotur among others.

Static Discos:
Static Discos is a Mexican independent label based in Tijuana. They are a small group of people bent on bringing forward Mexico's electronic music and their releases focus on minimal techno, dub, electro and IDM. (Murcof, Fax, Carre, Terrestre, Antiguo Automata Mexicano and others)"

ROBOTIC SINGING VOICE & KARAOKE KODE on Parallax Propeller

YouTube via VironCybernet
"This is nothing new, except for me. My voice synthesizer experiments are mostly unique and ignorant of the way other people do it. I am interested in using voice synthesizers to make songs. My music technology is unique but it could use more work in the parts involving lyrics. I didn't make THIS speech synthesizer, but I just gave it some words to sing and display them with my "Karaoke Code" because the voice isn't very clear. I wasn't sure if "99 bottles of beer" was copyrighted, but although it would be easy to make it sing the whole thing, it also seems to me that a lot of people think that would be very annoying... SO I DID SOMETHING ELSE.

I'm still annoyed at the music police and inventing lots of cheap easy ways to make new music.
I could have easily added instruments to this, I guess, but I didn't.

4ms Pedals Stereo Panneur

via Edward. Note this is for sale.
"This is a very special version of the 4ms Stero Panneur, which has been specially customized so that, in addition to its ordinary functioning, it can also be used as an external triple-LFO module for use with analog modular synthesizers or any other devices that accept LFO inputs for modulation.

Info on the Stereo Panneur can be found here (blue panner image src)

As an effect, this box is an analog stereo panner and tremolo effect, with independently controlled left and right channels, and stereo inputs and outputs. The full description of its controls is below. Its effect components can be used to produce 2 independent mono tremolos, a stereo panner bouncing a mono signal from left to right, or a true stereo tremolo or pan effect.

And now here's the SPECIAL part. It is also a triple LFO, with three special outputs that send out modified versions of the internal LFO signals used to control the effects. These special outputs, located on the side of the box (visible in image 4 below), emit signals that work within the range required modular synthesizer oscillators for modulation. They can thus be plugged directly into any of the modulation inputs on a synth, and controlled via both the synth's Level controls and the various controls on the 4ms box. This is a great way of expanding your modulation options, and the fact that the same box controls both modulation and external effects processing provides for multiple possibilities for interesting effects and sounds.

The box is in perfect functional order. Cosmetically, its red-and-black paintjob has some dings at the corners but otherwise this looks and sounds great, and works perfectly.

Here are images of the device. My apologies for the lousy quality of my camera:

The two rows of knobs on the left side of the box are to control the two main LFOs. Each LFO also gets a blinking indicator light. The knobs across, from left to right, are:

Speed
Smoothness (blends the waveshape between square and triangle)
Depth
Spacing (which sets the center of the stereo panning to provide unique
assymetrical effects)

The set of three knobs at the top right of the box are used to control the depth of the independent LFO outputs for output to synthesizer modules. These work separately from the Depth knobs that are used to control the application of the LFOs to the effect outputs, so that you can have a really intense panning or tremolo effect while
simultaneously using the LFOs to control a synth's oscillators in more subtle ways (or vice versa of course).

The row of four switches below that are:
Rate 2x (multiply the settings of the Speed knobs by 2)
Ramp-Up (change the wave shape to a ramp-up sawtooth)
Trem/Pan (changes the output effect between tremolo and panning)
Sync (the right LFO can be synced to the settings of the left one)

Below this are the controls for the auxiliary third LFO, which can be used to modulate the speed of the left LFO. It has Speed and Depth knobs, and an On/Off switch to stop it from modulating the left LFO. However, even when it is set off, it can still be used as a third LFO with simple settings, with a raw output for synth use.

Finally, there's a stomp switch which turns the effect on and off, but does not affect the synth LFO outputs -- those can effectively be turned "off" by setting the output depths to 0.

I am selling this one-of-a-kind box for $720, which includes postage if you live in the US. I will ship abroad but will have to calculate what the postage will be before giving a final price. Please contact me with any questions or if you are interested: sevenarts gmail.com"
