Sequential Circuits Prophet T8 Analog Synthesizer
via this auction
video below
"It has polyphonic aftertouch which allows you to be very expressive in your playing and apply aftertouch effects only to the notes that are engaged individually instead of having the aftertouch affect all the notes at once. Very few synths have this ability and this one not only has it, but it feels amazing to use and it's totally natural to learn to use the aftertouch."

"I'd like to make music free of the cliched compositional motifs I've picked up from years of listening to pop tunes in America. Still, I grew up in the 1980s, and the sonic qualities of electro/new wave/industrial are dear to me. The system in this video was built between 2007-09, using 1970's and 80's technology. Its analog sounds are controlled by digital algorithms that generate rhythm and melody. When playing it, my role is to set the tuning, sculpt the tones, and create flow by switching elements in and out of the mix."

This is a busk I did in Melbourne. It's the title track from my CD and it features many of my musical inventions, including: The Claudatron (the thing that sounds like a Theremin - although it can do much more), The Rap Rod and The Orbatron."
