HQ Disco Video Clip - DOCTOR WHO TV THEME

YouTube via funkyboymark | January 24, 2009 |
Some synth spotting.
"From British TV Show Top Of The Pops from 1978 this was the disco version of Ron Grainer's theme to the DOCTOR WHO TV series by MANKIND, produced by Don Gallacher and arranged by Mark Stevens. The late 1970's period was very strong and competitive for music as record sales of the whole top forty were massive back then compared to today and although this only managed number 25 on the UK charts it still sold a fair few copies and hung around for 12 weeks and was aired on the show two or three times. This particular clip is from 31st December 1978.

This video is uploaded only for promotion of the disco era and the music of Mankind, Ron Grainer and Doctor Who and I will gladly remove the video clip if requested if it's in breach of any copyright."

"nigelsifantus.com the Ableton Live Futuristic One Man Drum Ninja Band: Progtronica. Taking a foray from the progressive electronica that usually defines the Progtronica sound, producer/drum assassin Nigel Sifantus takes this to the next level of blatent Math-Rock ala Don Caballero or King Crimson crossed with a little Aphex Twin. This is a solo performance you will find is totally unique in the viral music video world. All sounds are played, recorded, produced, performed live using Ableton Live and a Novation Launchpad, filmed and edited entirely by Sifantus.
