The Metasonix brand has become very popular amongst 'in-the-know' professional electronic music producers in recent years, and it's reputation is well earned. I also own the TM-1 waveshaper/ringmod, and have owned the TM-2 filter. In my opinion all of the hype that Metasonix gets is true. Online demos and Youtube videos don't even come close to doing these machines justice. Words I'd use to describe their character are organic, quasi-predictable, devastating, and ALIVE.
This particular unit is one of the early Metasonix pedal/desktop models that has rapidly become almost a collector's item."
