(Cover)-Oxygene III : Live in MY Living Room

Published on Nov 3, 2013 deitersmonkey·21 videos

"Here the two of us play everything live. Vintage Gear singing away. Polysix for the bass, JX-8P for the melody, Soundmaker for the string FX, Chords locked onto the Arp Omni, Basskick (now 4 on the floor, on the floor) from the Poly800 on my right toe (!). Theremin for the eerie melody."

BMOT live set 2 - deep acid techno

Published on Feb 24, 2013 bmot·7 videos

"2nd live set from the home studio. This time it's longer AND deeper, you lucky people! As it was a one-shot live recording there were naturally a few mistakes, but i'm sure can you appeciate there's no such thing as "perfect" in this kind of performance just as no two performances will ever be the same.

Everything you hear is hardware played and triggered in real time. There are no computers or DAWs involved except for recording the video/audio for youtube.

Kit list and routing for this set:

RS7000 (sequencer, sampler, midi in from TR707, 2x midi out)
TR-707 (master clock, DIN sync out, midi out)
Jomox XBase09 (midi in)
TB-xOx Box with RE20 space echo and Boss DS2 distortion (DIN sync in)
Roland MC-202 with distortion (midi in via Kenton Pro Solo II)
BugBrand Travel Weevil (no sync, audio routed through RS7000 ext audio in)"

This Volca Beats was used very little and is in great condition. It's a really killer sounding machine that's fun to program and use live."

Doepfer A-115 as a quantized sequencer

Published on Nov 3, 2013 GruithuisenCityMan·471 videos

"It is possible to turn a Doepfer A-115 into a nice little weird sequencer. The result is often somewhat strange but always interesting ! And it is also possible to quantize the sequences created that way with a A-183-2 and then a A-156. Some reverb added for a nicer sound."

Buchla Modular Sounds 12

Published on Nov 3, 2013 Joris Menten·92 videos

"Some fun with the K4816, Blacet time machine and 285e frequency shifter.

Forgot to write down the patch, but it is essentially:
- 261e controlled by K4816 through 292e with envelope from 281e
- One 292e out to 206e (center)
- 292e all to Blacet time machine
- Time machine full wet to 285e frequency shifter
- Up output to 292e (creating feedback to the timemachine)
- Output of this 292e channel to 206e (right)
- Down output of the 285e frequency shifter to 206e (left)
- Some modulation of 261e timbre, symmetry, 285e frequency, 281e decay, K4816 start etc."

"I thought this thing was pretty cool. Out of the box the settings are horrible, but with tweaking you can create some interesting sounds. I have no prior experience with the instrument enjoy, comment, subscribe."
