"A quick demo on the AR57 synthesizer. Just noodling around, and demonstrating how fat the sound can be.

A bit of added delay - and why not...."

Sonic Potions LXR meets Volca Bass, Mopho and friends

Published on Nov 25, 2013 rudeog·30 videos

"In this episode, the LXR drum machine sequences a Dave Smith Mopho keyboard, a Mutable Instruments Shruthi-1 and keeps a Korg Volca Bass in sync (the volca is running it's own sequence). Bass drum on the LXR is being processed through a Big Muff Pi pedal. All drums are going through a Korg Kaoss pad 3 (doing mainly reverb and LP filter). The Volca Bass is going through a reverb pedal, and the Shruthi-1 is going through an analog delay pedal."

Linn LINNDRUM vintage 1982 drum machine w/ JL Cooper Midi

Playlist:
Linndrum Original patterns (11 to 57) + 2
Linndrum with JL Cooper MIDI demo (eBay auction)
Linndrum setup and button test for eBay auction

via the listing: "The machine was recently restored by a professional technician at Ramcur. Every capacitor was replaced with the highest quality available, the circuits were cleaned and some other internal parts were replaced, including the batteries. The machine has a nice powerful sound and no hiss or hum! The case still hums a little, like all Linns, but it's been reduced to a minimum.

I've installed the original patterns back into the machine and wrote a few of my own while testing the unit. Note that you'll need to back up your pattern data when not using the machine regularly, the batteries need a regular charge to hold patterns.

The machine has all the original EPROM sounds Linn Electronics installed circa 1982. it also includes 7 extra EPROMs to change the snare, bass drum and toms sounds to other standard issue Linn sounds.

ZIF sockets are installed in the bass drum and snare sound sockets.

The original "Pre-sets" tape is also included. I uploaded presets via a computer/mp3, the tape looks unused.

It's interesting to note that this unit is serial number 0015, likely making it the 15th made.

The JL Cooper kit plaque in included. It was left uninstalled, it's included and could be added on with double-sided tape.

The Linndrum comes with a nice sturdy road case that was custom made for it. This case explains in parts why this unit was kept in outstanding condition.

To sum it up : It's nicely restored, works perfectly, looks mint and sounds nice and punchy, I honestly think this is the best Linndrum out there!

Go see the 3 videos below for an in-depth demo of the unit.

The auction includes the following items :
Linndrum drum machine
IEC power cable
original owner's manual
Midi kit manual (repro)
custom roadcase
7 extra EPROMs
2 ZIF sockets (installed)
Linndrum CPU (pre-MIDI kit)
original Presets tape."

Vintage 1969 EKO Tiger keyboard/piano/synthesizer

via this auction

"This is a truly vintage Eko Tiger manual combo organ/keyboard. This instrument was made in 1969 (dated inside of the cabinet) and is a fully functional keyboard with all features working. It contains two internal speakers, but they are just for quick monitoring - the keyboard fully blossom when connected to a serious amp and your imagination is the limit when it is run via modern effects, pedals and the means of sound enhancement, like Leslie speakers.

The features are controlled by six colored Hammond drowbar alike switches - they are only on/off switches for the 'mellow, reed, brass, flute, bass chorus & vibrato' functions. The bass volume and tone controls add color and depth to all the functions.

The keyboard/synth is easy to carry with a convenient handle - it weights 36 lb.

The keyboard is in excellent visual condition with no signs of use, it is very clean inside and outside - it looks like it was not used and stored for many years.

It comes with a keyboard cover and AC cord.

Size: 34-3/4"W x 19"D x 7"H. Shipping weight ca. 40 lb."
