"This Arp Omni-2 is in fully working condition. It was recently serviced by The Analog Lab in NYC. It is in fair cosmetic shape considering its 30+ years of age. There are a number of scuffs and nicks and some minor rust. The slider pot for PEDAL & ACC has broken off (see photos). The slider is functional and can be moved with pliers etc. There is a cracked white key on the keyboard that has been glued back together. Two screws are missing from the front panel. See photos of actual unit. Item will be packed carefully.

AUCTION INCLUDES:
Arp Omni-2 keyboard, power cable, original user manual, and a worn but useful keyboard bag."

@noyzelab's CELLDYNA Featuring Comdyna Analog Hybrid Computer & Cellular Automata Sequencer

via noyzelab where you'll find additional info & pics.

Update: All the sounds you hear except for the drum sounds in the end come from the comdyna - all analogue computer sound synthesis.

"For CELLDYNA I used minimal analogue computing elements (2 to 4 integrators, 2 potentiometers and an inverter) hybridized with a digital Cellular Automata sequencer driving various different synths. The spoken word samples are from a 1969 lecture from EAI titled 'Understanding the Analogue / Hybrid Computer'. In order to use such a small amount of computing elements I setup a fairly messy chaotic style feedback patch. I did this intuitively pluging around to see what happens on the scope while listening to the output in realtime. This approach worked well for this track, and enabled me to get quick results without resorting to theory. I made a bunch of recordings during Dec 2008 & Jan 2009, which I then edited into the final track."

Note this piece is featured in Dave Noyze Automata 49 which also featured afx dsp box commissioned by Richard James of Aphex Twin.

See the Comdyna channel label below for a few more posts featuring the system.

@noyzelab SYSTEM - HINTON - 4a [1997] - excerpt

"Here is another Hinton Music Lab track [System Hinton 4a excerpt] unearthed from the Noyzelab archives! This was recorded in 1997, and is among some of the first tracks I made with it. This track also used the Roland System 100m and System 100 modular synths. See its blogpage for more info :

3003 - Xposed electriX 104

"Boomstar 3003, me and sons.

The real uncompressed and glorious file for your purest listening pleasure: tinyurl.com/nhmll7r

The short playful dry (as opposed to wet) intro and end segments benefit from one of the 3003 sides offset by an 1/8 note—they have also been EQ'd and compressed in Adobe Audition. The balance is un-effected save for the native DP8 "Delay" and "Proverb" touches.

Sequenced via CV and Gate by my Arturia Beatstep (Thanks Sean!) and Carlo and Salvatore St. Regis. Carlo and I manned the 3003, while Salvi kept his fantastically flexible fingers pressed upon the Beatstep's electricity.

Hysterical summer fun — hey if these kids can do it... ;)

Cuts and edits: DP8 and Audition.

We are Xposed electriX."

SN 2006-0074 via this auction

"This is in EXCELLENT physical condition (see the pictures) BUT note:

-The original screen printing said 'XBase 999' under the Jomox logo. The screen printing smudged easily so I removed the "Xbase 999" with a magic eraser. Thought it looked cleaner. See the image, in certain light you can see that it's smoother where the screen printing used to be.
-There are a few MINOR smudge's in the screen printing (like I said it's super sensitive printing) and the wood ends have a few minor imperfections."

4 Analog Synths

Published on Aug 29, 2014 GenshiMediaGroup

"–|::| To hear the full range of frequencies, a good pair of headphones is highly recommended |::|–

A quick and dirty (and a bit sloppy) test of four of my analog synths. Yeah I know, technically the DSI Evolver is an analog/digital hybrid, but whatever, this was just a fun test for me to do. A touch of reverb (courtesy of ValhallaVintageVerb) was added to a couple of the tracks once recorded into Ableton Live."
