"PX WaveFrame captures the groundbreaking essence of the WaveFrame AudioFrame, a high-end digital sampler and audio production system that made waves in the late 1980s. Developed in Boulder, Colorado, this system was a formidable competitor to the Synclavier and Fairlight, featuring advanced capabilities like non-aliased transposition, phase-coherent polyphony, and 24-bit processing features that were light years ahead of their time. Even with a focus on post-production, the AudioFrame was embraced by forward-thinking musicians and producers for its pristine sound and unique sonic character, with artists like Peter Gabriel, Stevie Wonder, and many others utilizing it for both studio and stage."

HX-ODDY is based on the world's first duophonic analog synth, a capable and expressive 3-octave keyboard instrument with design heritage from the renowned 2500 and 2600 modular synthesizers. With heaps of configuration potential, oscillator cross-modulation, and its ARP 4023 SVF-like filters, the ODDY explored a broad and unique sonic range, notable both for its ability to mimic natural instruments, and an exceptionally rich analog character.
Portable Powerhouse
Debuting in 1972, it was ahead of its time, offering powerful performance features, outstanding analog sound, color-coded controls, preset patch panel overlays to aid in programming, all contained in a small and portable form-factor. Its unique voice quality and analog character has kept it a sought-after instrument, and while it has seen numerous evolutions and reissues over the years, for us nothing beats the original white-face Mk1, which we used exclusively in the development of HX-ODDY.
"A comparison between Behringer Solina String Ensemble and three different Solina software clones: Arturia Solina V2 (virtual analog), UVI String Machines 2 (sampled based) and a Solina sample pack från BiggaGiggas (samples).
The settings used in all examples is all instruments, ensemble on, medium bass volume, medium crescendo and medium release.
Some of the instruments are made to shine in stereo but for the sake of comparison everything is in here in mono, just as the original Solina was made as well as the hardware Behringer clone. No external processing such EQ has been applied but small settings on the instruments to reproduce about the same sound as close as possible and volume matching.
The purpose of the comparison is to show the different character of the hardware Solina clone and some Solina software clones."

Curated Instrument Selection Quadra provides 4 robust instrument layers that can be used together to create striking and evocative performances. Each layer can be assigned from a selection of 30 multi-sampled sources including massive stand-alone systems like the Colossus, to popular small format systems like eurorack.
At the heart of each of Quadra's instrument layers is a powerful, multimode 64-step sequencer with MIDI effects, allowing you to quickly add rhythmic grooves, create arpeggiator sequences, add harmonies, and even quantize the incoming notes to specific scales. Choose a global rate, gate length, and max velocity, then customize your sequence with per-step velocity, link, harmonization, pitch offset, octave offset, gate, step repeat and panning. Save your patterns to disk as presets to share, or use the handy "copy-to" button to quickly duplicate your finished sequence from one layer to another.
