"Modular's output (except two Z3000 go straight to Mackie) was fed into Octatarck's input A/B and C. Use OT's track 1-3 for realtime sampling (mostly sampled Braids) and 5-8 to process incoming modular sound (use through and neighbor tracks).
Used two Z3000 for high pitch FM sound and kick drum.
Only additional kick drum were prepared, rest were made by modular in realtime.

Rhythm Wolf combines a drum machine, bass synthesizer, and step sequencer into one rugged device with a fierce, 100% analog signal path.
Take the beat off the leash with fully tweakable kick, snare, open and closed hi-hat, and accent percussion sounds. Use the oscillator with selectable waveforms – sawtooth/square wave – and analog filter to create bass sequences that squelch and growl. Carve out the perfect drum textures with continuously variable volume and tuning for each part. The kick drum attack and decay are adjustable for transients that hang, bang, and crush. Snare and open hi-hat also feature decay controls for unique sound design while the adjustable accent percussion can be modulated to click, punch, knock, "shush" and more.

Make menacing basslines with a tweakable, onboard bass synth. Envelope, filter and waveform controls let you design low-end that goes from liquid-smooth to bone-crushing and everywhere in between. "Here is our initial experimentation with the Pittsburgh Phase Shifter and Dave Smith Instruments DSM01 Curtis Filter.
*Pittsburgh Oscillator waveforms into Low-Gain Electronics Submix
*Oscillator submix group into Dave Smith DSM01 Curtis Filter Submixed dry oscillators are broken out to Audio Damage Errorbox and Dub Jr. and a small percent of wet signal is mixed into the Curtis Filter with the dry signal
*Dave Smith Curtis Filter into Pittsburgh Phase Shifter input
*MIDI to CV with Yarns. Yarns is triggering Tides into modulating DSM01
*From here experimenting with manual adjustment of Phase Shifter parameters (no external CV control, aside from the onboard internal modulator) and DSM01 cutoff Frequency
*Audio is monitored from Phase Shifter 8 stage out and 16 stage out"

"Here's a little preview of what we're going to be we're going to be showcasing at the Royal Festival Hall this Saturday (6th September!).
We're syncing three iPads together, all running different NOiZE instruments, to create a very futuristic 'Digital Band'.
Created for the The Beautiful Octopus Club, the largest multi-media club night in London, we wanted to make an experience that was accessible and sounded great! Any one can turn up and jam on our intuitive instruments - you don't need to be a musician!
