Some additional info via the Percussa newsletter:

"In the video above, you’ll see a Macbook laptop running my latest Synthor build (email me if you’d like to try the latest version). The laptop is connected to an AudioCube PRO via USB, which is the base station for the AudioCubes PRO network (you can use up to 16 cubes wirelessly). The AudioCube we hold in our hands is fully wireless and communicates with the base station cube. It’s all plug-and-play, no drivers necessary, and you can also hot plug the cube network, and swap cubes around if you like (any cube can become the base station cube, all without restarting software or stopping or starting audio).

In the video the wireless cube is linked to a Noise processor in Synthor, inside MIDIBridge. The Noise processor generates white noise, but with variable frequency and amplitude. The sound is passed through a reverb section which is now also built into Synthor. The frequency and amplitude of the Noise processor can be controlled using two of the four AudioCube sensors. The other two are unused in this demo, but I have some exciting plans to map those to two other parameters of the processor :-)

What’s cool about this demo is that you can see how gestural you can get with this simple setup and the variety of results you can get. You can also see the green bar graphs on the laptop in the back which show the distance sensing in real time for the 4 sensors of the AudioCube. All you need to replicate this setup is a Mac or PC laptop, two Wireless AudioCubes PRO and our free MIDIBridge software (includes Synthor). You don’t need any other software or hardware."

Moog Sim Phatty vs Novation Bass Station 2 - Part #2 - MIDIVERSE MONDAYS #2

Published on Sep 8, 2015 MIDI-VERSE TV

"On this episode of MIDIVERSE - TV we'll be comparing the oscillator sections of the Moog Slim Phatty and the Novation Bass Station 2. In the first video part we compared the filter section of each of the synthesizers and also tried running the oscillators through the different filter inputs on each synth, so go back and check out that video if you missed it."

Sputnik Modular - Karplus String Creature

Published on Sep 8, 2015 DivKidMusic

"Been having some real fun with the Sputnik Modular modules. There's already a video of the quad VCF/VCA here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MG9QZ... [posted here] - and videos to come on the whole range coming as soon as I can do (don't worry they're coming!). Here's a patch utilising the audio rate delay capability of the Delay / Dual Crossfader module which really is a new love of mine. Patching your own feedback path and dry wet mix is awesome, I feel it pushes you to think about the signal path and doing more interesting things with the feedback path as well (although here I left it simple). The Quad Function Generator is on modulation duties modulating the amplitude of a white noise signal going into the Delay to excite the 'virtual string' the delays are creating. Lots of cross patching and feedback routing with the envelopes resulting in a fun patch where small movements of knobs seems to result in endless chains of random things flying out."

"This is a gorgeous little ARP combo in a very old original built case with lid and legs. You can see form the pics that conditon is excellent for the Axxe and overall for both units is pretty good although the Little Brother badge could do with some 'reinvigorating'. There is loads of info regarding these items online, but i would definitely say that the Little Brother is a very rare unit on its own, i've hardly ever seen these up for sale!!! I paid a significant amount of money to have everything brought back to full 'like new' working order with Saint Eric- the boards have been washed, sliders repaired/lubed and Key contacts polished..."

See the third pick for what it looks like under the faux wood laminate case.

"KORG Mono/Poly for sale. A classic synth with monophonic/polyphonic capabilities. Its Four VCOs can be linked or played independently. It also has super unique functions like chord memory and an arpeggiator. It was cleaned and restored a couple years ago and has a very clean bill of health, except for a few cosmetic blemishes, which is to be expected for a 30+ year old synth."
