6 Days Oh Happineness

Published on Jan 3, 2016 snipz

"Third track of the festive season, this one was another quick patch loosely based on a Doepfer PLL sequence running through Rings. For the first time I've used a clocked SH101 sequence too, the sound just fitted straight into the mix."

Nice pads in Eurorack with the TipTop audio Time Fabric card for Z-DSP

Rhythm by the Zularic Repetitor and a few TipTop 808 modules filtered by the WMD/SSD Pole Zero.
Rene sequences MI Rings + Piston Honda mk2 in an Optomix, then Modcan Dual Delay."

Custom KORG MicroKORG with Angled Front Panel

"Rock Solid modified MicroKorg includes microphone and power supply.

1/2" Red Oak finished

This mod makes the microKorg MUCH easier to use - no more hunching over the keyboard trying to read the selector knob guide.

There is some discoloration at the battery compartment (shown) but this was cleaned up and there was no effect on internal components. It is cosmetic discoloration only.

The Korg itself is held into the cradle with 4 screws on each side which are easy to remove if you want to disassemble. (if you want to paint, etc.)

There are 4 finish nails holding the end-boards to the bottom runner on each side. These are visible, but are sanded smooth. The ends were not glued so these could theoretically be removed as well. The finish nails were driven into pre-drilled holes.

This is fully functioning and is a nice solid piece -"

Blue PE Minisonic

"Practical Electronics Minisonic analog synth.

These synths were constructed from schematics in the practical electronics magazine and are quite rare. This one uses the PCB that was available from the magazine.

This is being sold as spares or repair because VCO 1 is not functioning correctly, it can be heard but is not responding to the controls on the panel. VCO 2 is working as are the envelope generators. I am unable to test the filter and ring modulator because I have lost the patch cables. There is also a tear in one of the speakers.

I have copies of the magazine articles with schematics so this is probably and easy fix for someone with the right knowledge."

GeoSynths Ep3 - Strymon DIG Pedal on Synthesizers.

Published on Jan 3, 2016 GEOSynths

"Using a Strymon DIG pedal on both a Dreadbox Erebus and a Moog Sub 37. While I do have a Strymon Timeline and Eventide H9 (and many more delays) I really like the sound I get from the DIG pedal."

January '16 Jam - Nord Moog Prophet Minibrute

Published on Jan 3, 2016 Mitch Wiseman

"A little improvised jam all played in live. The mini brute it going through a few effects in logic, the moog is going through an MXR carbon copy, and the prophet has a bit of valhalla reverb on it. For some reason the prophet was internally clipping, which I couldn't stop no matter what i tried.

Album coming soon..."
