"Up for sale is Korg EX-800 Analog Programmable Polyphonic synthesizer / sound module, a rack-mount version of the classic POLY-800.

The unit appears to be functioning fine as being tested, all the knobs and buttons working fine, including writing program and sequencer functions.

Cosmetically the unit is in beautiful near mint condition as you can see. There are only some very minor signs of wear and usage, and obviously have been looked after very well. I'm including plenty of pictures so you can see exactly how it looks.

Comes in Original Korg EX-800 Box.
I'm also including the Original Korg KAC-301 AC adapter that works on 100V, and Original Rack Ears that seems unused."

Access Virus Indigo synthesizer (37-note Virus B) with custom hard road case

"First released in late 2000, the Access Virus Indigo offered players a uniquely powerful, versatile and hands-on virtual analog synth in a compact package.

15 years on, it's a classic – but not just for nostalgia. Compare it with similar new synths and you'll notice its powerful synthesis engine, flexible input/output processing and revered modulation matrix (in particular) continue to hold their own.

It offers high-end features that remain high-end now – including 24-bit/18-bit AD/DA converters, 24 voices (4 oscillators per voice) and a remarkable number of effects plus vocoder.

This particular unit has been kept in storage (in a custom-fitted, lockable road case) for the past few years (owing to available studio space and a busy schedule); it hasn't been gigged nor taken on tour since I've owned it. It's time for someone to make better use.

Solid road cases for these instruments are notoriously rare and expensive (as high as USD$385 … crazy, I know) – yet essential for this solid monster of a keyboard. That work is taken care of; please take that into account when considering your bids.

Once particularly coveted by trance producers, this German-made synth (part of a long line of celebrated Virus models) is suited to all kinds of electronic music, especially to those keen to explore its deep programmability."

"The Cheetah MS6 is a six voice polyphonic/multitimbral synthesizer module with digitally controlled oscillators and resonant analog filters. It is similar to the Oberheim Matrix 1000 but it has better features and it is much harder to find. Soundwise it is closer to the vintage analog synthesizers of the 80's, booming bass, lush strings, detuned pads and FM type bells. Programming on the MS6 isn't easy, so you will need to use an editor to get the most out of it, however it's well worth the effort. The monophonic output has never bothered me as I played it through a guitar reverb/delay box and the sound has always been amazing."

"// ROCHESTER CHIP FEST 2012 //

Rochester Chip was a monthly event series I organized in Rochester, NY, dedicated to promoting artists and groups who use the sound chips of retro computers and video game consoles to create new original music. On November 11th, 2010, we held the first Rochester Chip event which featured Anamanaguchi, Starscream, George and Jonathan, and my band, Revengineers. Over the next two years, we organized 25 monthly events with over 80 different performers.

This all built up to December 8th, 2012, with the ROCHESTER CHIP FESTIVAL, a full music festival co-sponsered by WITR and the Rochester Institute of Technology. The event featured nine musical acts, two visualists, workshops, games, and more.

This was by far the biggest and most complicated event I’d ever organized and on top of everything else, I wanted to film it.

Since I was a performer at the event, I wouldn’t be able to film it myself and so I turned to long time friend Dan Gocek ( Director of Hoodalabeep ) for help. We pooled our gear, borrowed more equipment and asked friends to help shoot additional footage. In the end, we were left with almost 300 GB of files to edit.

I began posting a few performances as stand alone videos but it was always my intention to edit a single concert film out of the footage. Four years later, here we are.

These bands are some of my best friends and greatest musical heroes. Please check out all of their pages and music if you’re not already familiar.
