"Ambient synth jam. Not meant to be the prettiest, cleanest, or smoothest, not cutting for an album - just me playing a chord progression over and over again while I play with some toys.

I have the Minilogue running into a Mutable Instruments Clouds and then a MI Ripples filter. I use these in conjunction with the Mini's delay feedback to give the sound a sort of disintegration effect as I go on. The mix is also then running out through my guitar pedalboard, in which I have a Smallsound/Bigsound Fuck Overdrive, ZVex Lo-fi Junky, and Strymon BlueSky engaged. No post editing has been done. Towards the end it gets pretty out of control, which I like. Then, my camera felt like stopping recording video, but I decided to share the rest of the audio anyway because it gets pretty weird.

thought you might be interested in this, lots of synths in the 10 years that I’ve been recording an “A” every day (ARP 2600, TTSH, Moogs, Buchla, too many to count easily)

All 10 years of videos that I've been doing this crazy piece 'Mantra in A' are now on the youtubes in a fancy playlist for your enjoyment.

For the uninitiated, the basis of the piece(s) is that I record the note "A" every day until I die. I obsessively take pictures of exit signs everywhere I go, then combine the two things into one every year (changing how the two are combined each year). Enjoy!"

Quite the project. And I thought I was obsessed posting every single day of the year!

"Up for sale is a brand new Minimoog Voyager Old School. The Old School was specially made by Moog Music earlier this year and is the absolute last Old School to be produced. The serial number confirms this. It was a special order item and a small miracle it was even made and alas it must be sold. It sounds absolutely incredible and is everything you expect from a Minimoog. I have all the manuals and all original boxes and the synth itself is in brand new condition. No scratches no dings, just a mint synth. "

"So I was finally able to do a new video. Slightly different setup to last time. This time the 2-pole filter is on the Memory Toy. The fast LFO on the 2-pole is creating the low bitrate type fx. No digital soundsources, except for the reverb coming from the Allen&Heath mixing desk. Recorded and mastered in Ableton. Looking forward to hear what you think!"
