Sample Locks with Elektron Model:Samples

Published on Feb 28, 2019 Jimi Heinrich

"You can fake Sample Locks by altering the Sample Start and Sample Length parameters. Just use a glues file with all your samples and set accordingly. The quick demo only uses 3 Tracks, but sounds like a lot more."

Published on Apr 18, 2019 Carl-Mikael's Cabinet of Curiosities

Videos about electronic music production, synthesizers, drum machines, eurorack modular synths. A lot of Elektron instruments, step sequencing and creative explorations. Some Ableton Live workflows, software instruments and VST effects. Almost no reviews, unboxing or top five lists.

Quadra Plonk Hop

Published on Apr 18, 2019 Intellijel

"Here's a fun jam using four Plonks with Steppy 3U in one of our new Palette cases.

Quadratt works great with the built in Mults to create macro controls of a few parameters. In this case Channel A is controlling Saturation on all four Plonks. Channel B and C is controlling the amount and offset of random modulation from Noise Tools sent to R Decay on the right two Plonks."

JXpansion Vol 1 - Roland JX-3P - GEOSynths.com

"Buy Now - https://www.geosynths.com/jx3p

No, I haven't gone Mad, well maybe a little! I was rearranging my Studio and got my old JX-3P out and had no intention of making any Patches on it, but hey...I started it up and played some of my old Patches for a bit of fun.

I'd never actually tested the Save to Tape function of my particular JX-3P so I backed up the Patches and decided to do 32 Brand New Patches for it, just because...Well, I can :) Added a bit of Compression, but that's it, no external FX.

Wasn't a commercial decision as it has been taken over by Plug-Ins and Plug-Outs and all that, but decided to put them out there for users of the originals to buy. 32 Patches, who knows, there might be more in the future! :)"

"Oberheim OB-8 Keyboard Synthesizer in rare, near-mint condition.

Huge, lush analogue sounds, as famously used by Prince, Rush, the KLF, and many more. One of the sophisticated analogue synths ever made, multitimbral split/layer, ultra flexible arpeggiator, 12/24db filters, voice panning, and much more. Miles better than the OB-6 and Prophet-6 and newer analogues in general.

With page 2 and factory MIDI."
