"Really excited to share this collaboration with one of my favorite keyboard players in the world - Nick Semrad! This is the Battle Scene music from the first Final Fantasy game for NES. I've never played the game but Nick introduced me to this theme and I loved it. Hope you enjoy our cover!

For the sounds I have sampled my old YAMAHA DX7 II FM Synthesizer
(check my VS-200 How to video on this channel)
recording: multi-track played by hand
fx: reverb, delay, noise and hum reduction and more

VSS-200 spec:
Polyphony: 4 voices;
Sampler: 8-bit, 1,9 seconds; built in microphone; 100 FM tones; ADSR; 9 DSP effects: loop, u-turn, reverse, FM, AM, fuzz, echo, level and pitch;
Keyboard: 49 mini-keys; Sequencer;
Memory: loses sample memory when turned off
