"Vintage Roland JX-8P in original box, with PG-800 in original box. Pulled directly from a working studio environment and working properly.

Comes with Roland memory cartridge, Roland expression pedal, and original power cable.

PG-800 comes with the extremely rare original carry case and the original midi cable.

The JX shows minor signs of use and wear cosmetically (surface swirls/light scratches), overall extremely clean and very well taken care of. Same for the PG-800."

Expert Sleepers FH-2 Firmware v1.15 Released

videos uploaded by

"FH-2 firmware v1.15 is out, with brand new sequencer functionality (using @WeAreNovation Launchpad)"

Playlist:
FH-2 - Launchpad - Intro and Drum Sequencer
FH-2 - Launchpad - Note Sequencers
FH-2 - Launchpad - Euclidean Patterns

Firmware update notes via Expert Sleepers:

Added the Sequencers.
Added support for driving the Euclidean patterns via a Launchpad.
Added extensive accessibility support (aimed at using a screen reader with the associated HTML tool) via MIDI SysEx.
Added five new arpeggiator modes.
Added an option for Triggers to be triggered by any note on a MIDI channel.
Added 'Clock' and 'Eucliean' options for LFO Resets.
Added 'Random' per voice outputs for MIDI/CV converters.
Added an 'Echo MIDI' setting for the Launch Control XL, so its LEDs can be updated when driving the FH-2.
Fixed an issue with when transport start clocks were updated, noticeable with certain sequencers which send a MIDI start a considerable time before the first MIDI clock.
Fixed the internal routing of Program Change and Aftertouch messages from the CV/MIDI section.

"Hi! I’m Elana, Destroyer of Worlds here at Noise Engineering. Welcome to our demo video of our freequel bundle. The bundle includes Virt Vereor, Sinc Vereor, and Ruina. It is available for Mac and PC, in VST3, AU and AAX formats.

00:30 Installation
01:54 Virt Vereor
05:30 Sinc Vereor
07:08 Ruina

About the Synths:
Virt Vereor is a powerful synthesizer based on a unique set of three synthesis algorithms. Virt Vereor makes a tremendous amount of unique sounds with an immediate and usable interface.

Astute users will recognize these algorithms from Noise Engineering’s contribution to Arturia’s Microfreak V3 firmware and our upcoming Virt Iter module.

Sinc Vereor’s intuitive and inviting controls belie the power of this lightweight synthesizer. Loosely based on Noise Engineering’s beloved Eurorack module Sinc Iter, the wavemorphing/wavefolding Tone control makes sound design a breeze. Three modes provide ample sound options.
We’ve paired the Virt and Sinc oscillator sections with Vereor, our easily manipulated dynamics section using an ADSR envelope controlling a variable slope and analog-inspired multimode gate/filter. Add to that a vintage-inspired chorus and a load of presets, and these synths have something for everyone.

About Ruina:
Ruina is a creative stereo distortion plugin built on digital distortion algorithms. Fully automatable controls make it easy to get a gentle, nuanced color, to obliviate a signal, or to dial in anything in between. Don’t feel like tweaking the parameters? Ruina comes with tons of presets to fit any need.

Ruina has a wavefolder, a multiband saturator, a chaotic suboctave generator, octavizer, and phase shifter. It also features a notch or bandpass filter with adjustable tracking, and a control to set the order of the distortions in the signal flow to further customize your sound. Last but not least, Overdrive adds up to 128x gain for maximal destruction.
Run any sound through Ruina for warm, lush distortion, or crank the sliders to unleash complete destruction. With seven distortion types, it’s easy to turn your sounds into something new and unique with Ruina."

Found a track I started making 3 years ago with nothing but the M32 and Rev2, updated it to include the synths I now have and recorded a video to go with it!"

Improvisation with Make Noise gear, Microfreak , Norns , Argon8

video upload by junklight

"I like this excerpt from tonights practice session (stick with it - there are two distinct sections). Loving the Make Noise tape and micro sound machine - the limitation of the set system forces a lot of creativity but it's well thought out enough to be full of potential.

Lots of lovely sounds from the 0--coast too.

if you are wondering why I keep looking back at the micro sound & tape system towards the end it's because at that point I hadn't quite worked out where the rhythmic beat was coming from :-)

Unfortunately the storage on my phone ran out before the live patching session on the larger modular for a long bolero"

Voltage Modular VM900 Tangram

video upload by boxoftextures

"Well I've always loved the Tangram sequence. It's iconic, what I think of when think of sequencers. From the Tangerine Dream album in 1980 of the same name. It's four patterns of 7 notes, each played twice. I even already did a video about it several weeks ago, except I used "standard" digital modules to do it. Three sequencers, the kind where you put in note names (such as A3, B5, etc.), and were you have digital clock modules controlling everything. Makes things easier! Except now that Cherry Audio's come out with the VM900 Collection of Moog-style modules, I now have a real (LOL) sequencer to work with. Totally analog, nothing digital. Which means you can't say something like, "give me 96bpm," you have to figure out the precise voltages you'll need to get the results you want. And you have to use analog logic and programming to get all your events happening when you want them and all in the proper order. Endless fun! (No, I mean it!) It's not that it's harder to do, it's that it makes you think differently to get things working. Wouldn't have it any other way.
