"1980 Arp Solus monophonic analog synthesizer in excellent condition. All sliders, keys, inputs, outputs, knobs and functions work as intended. The synth was regularly serviced and calibrated. The Arp Solus is light and built into it's own hard shell case, which makes it optimal for touring.

Only 500-600 of these were made. This one is serial# 329 (2353 is the model # followed by the 3-digit serial). This was the last monosynth that Arp produced before shutting down in the early 80s.

I'm going to say something controversial - I think the Solus is both unique from and superior to the Odyssey. It was designed with synth leads in mind - probably to appeal to touring musicians who wanted a lightweight, compact synth to put on top of their big CS80s and PolyMoogs. In my opinion, the quality of sound is where the Solus shines. The design of its filter is the result of years of learning from bugs and mishaps on the Odyssey filter. The Solus includes truly explosive FM, ring modulation, and reverse envelope capabilities in place of the Odyssey's S/H circuit. The Solus' oscillators are also variable waveforms, unlike the Odyssey's square or sawtooth waveforms. The Solus is very loud and present in a mix - perfect for bass lines and leads, whereas the Odyssey sits a bit further back in a mix."

Weird Obscure Lo-Fi Synthesizer Meets Noisy Obsolete FX Rack 🎹 Keytek CTS-2000 and Roland DEP-5

video upload by Reuben Jones

"The 1987 Keytek CTS-2000. A cool, quirky, lo-fi wavetable-style synthesizer from Italian brand Keytek, formerly known as Siel before being bought by Gibson USA....(!) Run through a 1984 Roland DEP-5 digital chorus/reverb.

All sounds made using the Keytek CTS-2000 and Roland DEP-5 Effects Processor.

Low-res voxel models made in MagicaVoxel."

Sounds of the Yamaha TG77 Synthesizer

Playlist with 30 videos starting with: "An ambient journey on the Yamaha TG77 synthesizer. With it's layering capabilities and long looping envelopes the TG77 shines on complex evolving soundscapes. All sounds from the TG77, played in one take and routed through the Lexicon PCM80 effects unit. PCM80 effects designed by Italo De Angelis. Recorded on New Years Day in Bali 2020 (March 25th), otherwise known as Nyepi or 'Day Of Silence'. Hope you enjoy!"

You'll find some programming demos as well.

Sounds Of The Oberheim Matrix 1000 Synthesizer

video upload by silverlight2004db

"Greetings, I'd never played an Oberheim synthesizer until now...this thing sounds incredible to my ears...so much fun to play with or without added effects, though in this case i am using the Lexicon PCM70 for reverb.
I've started working on sounds for this synth. For now just want to give you a taste of what this synth can do, hope you enjoy the sounds!"

Steevio inspired wavefolded melody

video upload by Shakmat

"With much humility today we're sharing a patch influenced by modular maestro Steevio
This patch uses both ring-mod and wavefolding features of Jeweler Cast with Banshee Reach as source and Dual Dagger for some extra filtering."

Flurry - navigating the storm of possibilities

video upload by Intellijel

"Flurry collects and connects several practical modular synthesis tools, focussed on clocks, noises, and randomness to create a module that is rife with opportunities for exploration and experimentation. Equally capable as a synthesis source, modulator, clock, or signal modifier; It is bound to find a way to bring new life and dimensions to your synth patches.

Functions
- 16 unique digital noise synthesis algorithms, each with two morph parameters, one with a modulation input.
- A clock and random pulse source with adjustable and modulatable rate.
- Accurate pink and white noise sources.
- Analog sample & hold and track & hold circuits with very low droop.
- Analog slew with adjustable slew time and edge selection (rising edge, falling edge, or both).
- Analog envelope follower."

SRV-2 JMT SYNTH

video upload by JMT SYNTH

"This is a spring reverb with a real spring in it. The sound from the input goes into a clean boost, the filter and spring reverb circuit. The filter has the cut- off freq control knob. The CLEAN, REVERB, FILTER, is the respective volume. There is a master volume that controls the overall sound. The switch is an electronic switch that switches the bypass on and the effect sound. All are analogue circuits.
