"As I'm sure you know, these are extremely rare. I believe only 20 or 30 were made. I hate to sell it since this is truly my dream controller but family needs call for me to part with some of my beloved gear.

Comes with the Keen case and 2 ribbon cables (only one shown) that connect to the Keen Smart Cab. I made a ribbon cable to bus cable connector to connect it to busboards from Samodular, Studio H, and of course Buchla.

It has the latest firmware."

BD9Q9 Kick with a TR-505 & Realistic Reverb + Delay Feedback

NoizeHack

"I borrowed a BD9Q9 kick which is a TR-909 kick clone with some extra knobs and built in distortion. I picked up a used TR-505 for cheap and used it for the clap, hats and percussion. There is a Realistic "Reverb" in one mixer feedback loop and a Memory Boy delay in the other creating the droning background textures and tones. Everything is sequenced by Patterning 2 on the iPad. Everything is smashed together in the reliable Boss BX-8."

SSSR Labs Matrixarchate, Kotelnikov And AWS Modules

Published on Aug 12, 2019 Perfect Circuit

"For this video we created a system with SSSR Labs modules as the core sound generators and used their matrix module to route the signals in the system. At 4:32 there is a patch where the Matrixarchate is sequenced to create a rhythmic pattern.

The SM042 Kotelnikov is a wavetable oscillator with the ability to be used as a full synthesizer voice. The SM630 AWS is a non-linear wave-shaper with three different modes. This circuit is based on the harmonics circuit from the rare Alisa-1377 synthesizer that was produced in the USSR. The SM010 Matrixarchate is a 16x8 matrix that is bi-directional and can store presets which can be stepped through with triggers.

New lush DSP FX 'Vertigo' from SSSR Labs // Superbooth 2019

Published on May 23, 2019 DivKidVideo

"The new Vertigo DSP FX card from SSSR Labs is the first FX card made for Tiptop Audio's Z-DSP platform from an external company. I really like the Z-DSP (as many of you know) and it's great to see others develop for that platform. Vertigo has some great sounds with stands out for me being the side chain hall and the BBD emulations with gorgeous grit and filter emulation on the feedback paths. SSSR Labs also have the new Wobla which is a $40 voltage generating fader for controlling your Eurorack system."

SSSR Labs - SM630 AWS / Alisa 1377 Waveshaper

Published on Jan 23, 2018 DivKidVideo

"Here's the rather awesome SM630 AWS from SSSR Labs. AWS stands for Alisa Waveshaper, which is based on the soviet synthesiser the Alisa 1377. It builds on the design of the 'harmonics' wave shaper on the soviet synths and expands the features and sound with added voltage control and a dry wet blend. The module works beautifully with the Kotelnikov which I suggest you watch my video for below ;) . It's a great wave-folding VCA based design with added feedback and filter to switch between 3 different colours of saturation."

SSSR Labs - Kotelnikov SM042

Published on Oct 26, 2017 DivKidVideo

"Here's the full overview demo of the lovely gritty, characterful oscillator 'Kotelnikov' from SSSR Labs. It's a mix of 8 bit and 12 bit wavetables alongside an on board transient generator and VCA for basic voice functionality, killer AM overtones, FM and smooth or stepped wavetable morphing. Would love to hear your thoughts so leave a comment and feel free to ask any questions.

00:51 Features / Overview
- oscillator, wavetables, morphing, transient generator, LFO, envelope shapes, AM, FM, VCA, volume control, wave banks, ins and outs, filter switching and modulation.

04:00 Wavetables
- a detailed look and scan through the wave banks and wavetables available. 8 bit banks and the HD 12 bit bank with licensed Electric Druid waves and more.

07:26 Riff, bassline and beats
- a little riff with sequenced wavetable modulation. This is an idea of how it might fit a basic synth riff and beats style patch.

08:03 Ambient patching and slower melodies
- this patch explores Kotelnikov as a slower moving melody over a chordal background with added FX.

10:21 Transient Generator & modulation inputs / internal routing
- using the TG as an oscillator, AM (gorgeous glassy audio rate overtones), FM, wavetable modulation, LFOs, retriggering, envelopes and more!

18:59 Sync input
- here we hit the sync input (which is a hard sync 'reset to the start / zero crossing') with audio for a series of sync overtones that merge into and grit to the wavetables."

SSSRLabs SM042 Kotelnikov demo: Scanning Through Waves

Published on Oct 5, 2016 rpocc

"Scanning through the Kotelnikov's wave banks at lower octave, than couple of octaves higher and then two more octaves higher.
You can find more information about this Eurorack digital wavetable oscillator here: https://sssrlabs.com/store/sm042/

I've made this video in response to a customer's email with the request for a demo containing straight scanning through waves without any sequencing, melodies or something. Fortunately I just built a unit for my local dealer and was able to shot this demo.

Please don't hesitate to write at sssrlabs@sssrlabs.com for additional questions, bug reports, feature requests, availability quote or anything else related to SSSR Labs production.

Thank you. Dmitry Shtatnov."

SSSR Labs. SM042 KOTELNIKOV: Modulations

Published on May 19, 2016 rpocc

"This is almost unedited video showing KOTELNIKOV modulated by audio-rate oscillations.
The second module is a VCF in self-oscillation mode, sequenced by the same source as the SM042 module. (Elektron Analog Four is used as sequencer, which sends 1v/Oct pitch CV and unipolar envelopes for AM directly to this mini-system)

Since VCF CV input is also 1v/octave, a dramatic sound enhancement is possible using FM techniques as well as audio-rate Waveform Modulation and Hard-syncing."

via Modularsynth.ru:

"The SSSR Labs KOTELNIKOV is a digital voltage controlled wavetable oscillator module with morphing feature and built-in transient generator. This oscillator can generate number of sounds with diverse spectral content and combine them in various proportions. Kotelnikov can be used as a usual oscillator in a traditional subtractive synthesizer system, but it is also possible to use it as a complete voice module as it features shaped timbres, envelope generator and amplitude modulation.

Technical highlights

The sound engine sampling rate is locked to pitch and varies from 4.2 to 133 kHz, which gives very clear highs and uniform spectral content over the full range.
The Pitch resolution is 6 cents and CV input sampling rate is 6 kHz, which gives smooth analogish FM-ready CV response.
Analogue Amplitude Modulation input is bipolar, linear, rail-to-rail.
Kotelnikov contains 80 waveforms organized in 4 banks:
