"Receiving my #Playdate recently reminded me of another fun device that has been greatly neglected by me unfortunately, the #NanoloopFM. So i thought i could take the chance to bring all these clicky buttons together 😉 All sounds here are coming from the Nanoloop (spiced up with #Artifacts app @numericalaudio4903 ). It’s plugged into the Playdate via TRRS which runs an early version of an upcoming playdate app @humbletune that creates awesome interactive and audioreactive lofi visuals! I’m switching here through different scenes and add live glitch fx on the fly. So much fun! Here also projected from above using playdate’s mirror companion app."

"I had the great honor to work on this for the last couple of weeks to create a promo video for the updated version of Tardigrain @humbletune , a lovely granular synth app for iOS. This project included outdoor projections with floating particles in the dark exploring and unveiling the beauty of nature, just like the grains of granular synthesis allow for exploring and unveiling the beauty of sonic landscapes. Next to the video part i created the music using #tardigrain obviously for all the melodic pads and clicks and #hammerhead for the drums."

Strng (iOS String Synthesis) AUv3 Plugin

"Strng is a string synthesiser inspired by the karplus-strong algorithm. The physical modelling starts with a short burst of noise that then guided by a tuned delay buffer and string tension filter, generates plucked string like sounds. No samples are used.

Now it can also run as a AUv3 plugin in your favourite host, as well as run stand alone supporting Inter App Audio and AudioBus."

"I love samplers, but I wasn't completely happy with how most of my samplers work, mostly in terms of looping. So, I thought I would attempt to make my own and try to make it more playable.. Anyway, this is the result.

The way it works is that it looks at the note being played and makes the sample length shorter or longer depending on this. There are also some effects, bit crush (you know me), reverb and a resonant low pass filter.

It also comes with audiobus, core midi and ACP 2.0."

"This is my little christmas present this year. I hope it will be accepted by apple in time. Of course it will be free, it is a gift. But enough about that.

Svärm implements a particle swarm that reacts to sound. All computations are done in real time so both live and recorded music works just as well. As input you can use the mic, line in or load songs from the iPod library. Oh, and it also supports audio bus (input, output).
