Rodina Alisa 1377 - Soviet Analog Synthesizer (1985) The Alisa 1377 is a rare monophonic analog synthesizer built in the Soviet Union during the mid-1980s. Manufactured at the Lyubertsy Military Radioplant 'Rodina' near Moscow. A lead synthesizer intended not for mainstream pop, but for experimental electronic music, sound design, film work and research. Produced in small numbers, making surviving the units rare. The Alisa 1377 is fully analog. All waveforms can be used individually or in combination. Frequency modulation (FM) available for all waves. Pulse width modulation (PWM) with adjustable width and depth. Octave switches (+1 / +2) and portamento. The sound character is warm, raw and a bit instable. Unconventional compared to western synths. The self-oscillating filter and the FM options allow for metallic, droning, and very experimental tones.

"Classic 80s 8bit PCM drum machine, used in countless hits.
This particular unit was serviced:
- all electrolytic capacitors were replaced
- switches and pots were cleaned
- latest firmware eprom was installed (3.0)
- factory patterns were loaded
- MIDI interface was added, built using the original E-mu design. This allows you to trigger the 12 sounds over MIDI dynamically
- comes with 4x additional eproms containing the famous LinnDrum LM2 sounds. I made a video a few monthes ago comparing 2 drumulators with stock and linnDrum kit if you want to hear the difference (youtu.be/k_EuRlCi_Vk)
Works perfectly. Cosmetic it is in quite good condition with some scuffs here and there, and also 2 holes were drilled in the back from a previous owner (no idea what was the reason).
Unit is 230v."
"This is not your typical Emulator III. This unit has been meticulously refurbished over dozens of hours, sparing no expense, and thoroughly tested, and is working great. RS-442 interface and external SCSI devices were not tested since we don't have external devices for testing. "Today, we're looking at the original Proteus sound module by E-mu, released in 1989. These were immensely successful back in the day and this one started it all, and so I decided to have a poke around the Proteus' patches to see which ones tickled my fancy.
