512 Tones can be stored and edited. It is also possible to temporarily edit any Tone

Tones are stored in Flash memory so no battery is required.

MidiCC & Sysex support for all parameters and Midi Sysex support for Tone Dump & Load

PG-800 Support for Control of Parameters

Patch Editor support

Key Assign Modes are Poly Single, Poly Dual, Poly Triple, Unison & Solo

Each Key Assign mode can have Rotate/Reassign, Staccato/Legato, Steal/No Steal with five steal modes (Highest, Lowest, Oldest, Newest, Quietest)

Portamento in all modes

DCO Key Assign Detune available in all key modes except Solo.

In addition there is a 'Analog Feel' parameter that add an adjustable small random frequency to each note. Detune is best used with Poly Dual, Poly Triple or Unison keying modes for greatest effect

Three independent envelope generators. These are traditional ADSR type and are modeled on the Original JX-8P. Each ENV Mod can select from ENV 1 - 3 and has an Inverted or Normal modes. These are faster than the traditional JX-8P envelopes

"It has recently been completely serviced by the Synthspa, so you can be sure that the voice chips are all completely restored and won't fail. I've also upgraded it to have beautiful wood cheeks, but I will include the original end cheeks in the package as well.

This one comes with the KIWI-106 hardware/software upgrade installed, which means it sports an expansive range of functionality that takes the 106 to the next level (see below). That said, I will include the original board for the 106 with this, in case you want to swap out of the Kiwi upgrade (no idea why you'd want to do that, though!).

"This Roland JX-3P is in excellent working and cosmetic condition, and has been professionally modded with a Kiwi-3P upgragde by Kiwi Technics ($300 value). This adds a number of great features which expands the JX-3P into sonic territory that is impossible with a regular unit, such as oscillator detuning, two independent LFOs, and two independent envelope generators, to name only a few. "A quick round up of the analog poly-synths that caught my eye at NAMM 2016. It's a great year for all of us synth geeks!"

See 4:37 for Syntegrator talking about the new Kiwi upgrades coming from KiwiTechnics.

At 7:59 you'll note Syntegrator mentions the difference in width and wood of the side panels for the Prophet-6 vs the OB-6. I don't think I noticed this detail until now, but the OB-6 side panels match the styling of the original pinstripe Oberheim OB-Xa and OB-8. How cool is that?

Update via Syntegrator in the comments: "At 4:37 I am talking about how we're looking into having the Kiwi-3P and Kiwi-106 support the JU-06 and JU-03 as control surface programmers and (under certain circumstances) as polychained note expanders for the original analog machines when upgraded with our Kiwi CPU brains. Psicraft does have stand-alone editor/librarians coming for the entire Boutique line (JU-06, JX-03 and JP-08) too, for those who would like to get the most from these super cool new modeling synths.

All in all an awesome show. I love how Dave goofs out for the camera when he notices I am recording him and Tom. Wotta guy!"
