3D Waves NanoBod for the Arturia MicroFreak

A couple of pics in via Larry Kleinke aka Computer Controlled.

The 3D Waves NanoBod is a custom replacement case for the MicroFreak minus keys. You can find them on Reverb here. Below are some pics from the listing.

"Finally, someone has made a synthesizer with a keybed that we didn't have to chop in half in order to turn it into a module. Arturia did something really clever by making the module on the MicroFreak removable, all you have to do is unscrew 8 screws from the bottom the body.

The only downside to removing the keyboard is that the electronics are exposed and the PCB board serves as the base. That's where the Nano Bod comes in. Using the 8 screws from before, the Nano Bod attaches to your MicroFreak which will help keep dust out and provide a solid footing for your new module.

High quality 3D printed module body
Designed specifically for the Arturia MicroFreak
Recessed holes for rubber feet
Webbed design for added strength and a unique look"

EuroTile - Modular System for Eurorack 1U Tile modules

Published on Mar 15, 2019 SYINSI

"EuroTile is a complete, compact modular instrument built around the popular 1U Tile format."

via SYINSI

"1U Tiles are small modules typically used with the Eurorack modular format to add utilities in rows across a modular system. We use 1U Tiles to create all of the modules found in a modular system, such as VCOs, VCFs, etc.

Now a complete modular synthesizer can be made entirely with compact and inexpensive 1U Tiles.

The Raw Army Eurorack Case

Making the raw army case eurorack Published on Mar 10, 2019 paul tas

Upcycled and repurposed old army cases to a 6U eurorack case. They look raw, they are strong and they are for sure different.

via Kickstarter

"We found a pile of army cases which where just too good not to re-use them! The pile was huge but we took the time to carefully select 100 nicest and most beautiful cases out of it. So after the selection we bought the 100 cases we selected and we drove back to their temporary home where we will convert them into beautiful eurorack cases.

After bringing the cases to their new temporary home we now need to collect all the parts to do the modification. We are going to build in power supplies, busboards and rails. The cases have a perfect inner size of 2 rows (2x3U) of 114HP. We made one to show you how they are going to look. But keep in mind that they will all be slightly different as these are over 40 years old used cases and they all have scratches and signs of usage, but that is exactly why we think these cases look awesome!"
