The only things replaced or added were the knobs to which we bought some of the faders new/old stock and 3D printed some of the small knobs but you'd never know the difference. Comes with a hard case and works good!"

"We present a detailed look at the infamous Octave CAT synthesizer. Released in the mid-1970s, it was similar in many ways to the Arp Odyssey and Minimoog, but had several unique features such as blending waveforms, sub octaves, and cross modulation. These give it a unique sound that ranges from powerful analog synth bass to wild combinations of frequency modulation. And of course, it is called "CAT" so we have to review it. This is the way.

"Professionally refurbished Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 Revision 2 synthesizer for sale in excellent condition! This synth is much rarer than the Rev 3 synths and has very rare and sought after SSM ICs as opposed to the far more common CEM ICs featured in the Rev 3 version. It works great and I uploaded a video to demonstrate it's functionality. There are no issues with this synth! Every button works, every key works, every LED lights, etc. There are no scratchy pots or out of tune voices. The wood is almost perfect. There are a few scratches on the face and a couple of nicks in the paint above the modulation section. All of the tantalum capacitors have been replaced. A substantial amount of CMOS ICs have been replaced. The EPROMS have been replaced with modern equivalents. All voices have been recently tuned."

"Just serviced at Outliner Audio in Chicago, this Performer is fully functional to it's former glory. Keybed plays exceptional well. Except we could not allocate a Brass Attack Pot replacement. As shown, the face plate has been repainted long ago with new labels added. Likely due to rust or paint flaking which was notorious for the Crumar."

Keyboard is freshly revised by laserheaven.ch, hot glue problem is permanently eliminated. (see pictures from cleaning above). The full keyboard was revised, even only two keys showed the problem in a little cause. All rests of the old red glue are carefully cleaned out and re-glued all weights with a stable modern glue

No use of any contact sprays by the revision in potentiometer or sliders, nor buttons, these are in original no crackling very good shape"

Excellent condition Sequential Circuits Prophet-5 Rev 2.0. Includes professionally installed Kenton Midi Kit. Keyboard bushings have been professionally replaced(no clicking) along with having a Heat Sink installed(addresses tuning stability/drift which was notorious with Rev 1 and Rev 2 P5's).
There are a few minor scratches on bottom and a very small wood ding on top of left side panel; otherwise in excellent shape. Please check my photos and video.

Unit has only been used in my smoke free Home Studio; has never been used outside the home/toured.

Professionally serviced at Outlier Audio in Chicago, IL.
Includes Cover, power cord,copy of Manual, Kenton Midi Kit manual as well as Cassette Interface Operation Notes."
