DSI Pro 2 Sequence impression...no music masterpiece.

Published on Dec 9, 2014 freelanderride

Picks up at the 1 minute mark.

"I just bought the Pro 2 and make a first sequence. I want to show you how easy this great this synth is to make a simple sequence. I only tweak oscillator one (shape/noise) and use some reverb and the both sliders on the Pro 2. Hope you enjoy and more complex sequences are coming...

Now I start to clean this Pro 2 from some dust... ;-)"

35 minute Live hardware jam Korg Volca Sample, New Electribe, Monotribe, Teenage Engineering OP-1

Published on Dec 31, 2014 darenager

"Covering a few styles from minimal techno, acid, oldschool house, deep house, 35 minute hardware mix, a few messy bits but I wanted to get it recorded before midnight, I did not have time to rehearse so what you hear is the rehearsal, some pre-programmed patterns, some made up on the fly, I might revisit some of the patterns in future videos.

All recorded direct with no post processing, gear used 2x Korg Volca Sample, Korg Monotribe, Korg Electribe 2, TE OP-1, Peavey RQ200 mixer, analog delay pedal.

Play it loud :) Hope you enjoy and happy 2015!"

Published on Dec 31, 2014 rudeog

"The bassline is sequenced on the MPC and goes through analog chorus. The drums are on the MPC and go through reverb pedal. The lead sound is on the Mopho and goes through rat distortion, analog delay and reverb pedal. The arp is on the volca and goes through Korg Kaoss pad, and TC Electronics Nova Delay. Recorded in two takes. No other FX. Video: GoPro Hero 3."

"My contribution to the OP-1 community Christmas Album 2014.

Snare sample battered on Maschine as there's no way they could've been done so fast on the OP-1."

"Hi, Here is a nice looking analogue monophonic synth from the Japanese synth makers, Kawai. The 100F's filter architecture is reputedly a very close copy of the ARP Odyssey's. The filter was smooth and bright, and could be driven into self oscillation to produce metallic, glassy, tinkling highs or deep sub-bass lows. Sadly, after a period of intermittent signal output, the VCO cant be heard, nor can the VCF when pushed into the self/osc zone, where it should whistle/oscillate wildly! Possibly a VCA output problem but I don't really know. A faint clicking signal from the LFO can be heard and the rate/speed of clicks are adjustable. The synth is in reasonable cosmetic condition considering its age, mid '70s. All slider caps are present as is the original owners manual and paper sound patch templates. Some wear on rear underside of end cheeks and veneered part of lower back panel. A little veneer has parted company with the front of the right hand end cheek. A little corrosion under the paint work near the power switch. The 1/4" jack ins and outs can be used for external signal processing, connecting other voltage controlled synths and CV/Gate equipment..."
