Nitzer Ebb Murderous cover | Machinedrum + Volca Bass

Published on Jan 2, 2018 anode8

"Here's a #jamuary2018 video of a little cover I put together with one of my favorite old school EBM jams, Nitzer Ebb's Murderous. Please forgive me for not screaming the vocals out, but I do know all of the words since I wore out this cassette tape back in my high school days. I tried to keep this one simple with just the Machinedrum and the Korg Volca bass, and I don't think that it really needs much more."

DIY Modular playing Nitzer Ebb

YouTube via hnydell | July 18, 2010

"My DIY MFOS modular - the Modulator - playing Isn't it funny how your body works by Nitzer Ebb. The 16-step sequencer's gate outputs trigs two ADSRs for bass drum. Clock out is sent to slave 10-step sequencer and to two ARs controlling filter cutoff and VCA. 16 step seq CV out gets patched to both VCOs. The stereo auto panner is used during the last few seconds."

Roland System 100m vs MFOS - DIY modular VCF shootout

hnydell | June 15, 2010

"Comparison between Roland System 100m 121 VCF module and the Music From Outer Space 4-pole VCF.
Setup: MFOS 16 step sequencer driving two MFOS VCOs. Each VCF is fed a sawtooth and a pulse wave from the VCOs, slightly detuned. An MFOS AR envelope controls the VCA (Sys 100m 130), an MFOS ADSR controls the two filters. The sequencer is in 2x8 mode, where the second half later is patched in to the VCF control.
Since the 100m uses 15 volts, the MFOS adsr (12V) cannot really sweep through the full VCF frequency span on the 121. This is not very apparent though."

Join in the Chant - Nitzer Ebb cover on PO-12

Published on Dec 9, 2018 tubesockor

"Drums and bass played and jammed like the 2006 Remaster of Nitzer Ebb’s ”Join in the Chant”. Performed on a Teenage Engineering PO-12. Feel free to chant like Douglas McCarthy on top of it.

(This is a bonus recording I had some plans for back in 2016, but never did anything with it, so could just as well make it public two years later...)"
