"The Analogue Solutions Ample is a powerhouse desktop synthesizer that combines the best elements from across the Analogue Solutions lineup—like a “greatest hits” of their iconic gear. It draws its sound engine from the Fusebox, features patch points from the Concussor Eurorack series, integrates the pin matrix from the Vostok, includes the analog echo from Dr. Strangelove, and borrows the sequencer and touch pads from the Generator—all while maintaining its own distinct sonic identity.
With three analog VCOs, dual LFOs, and dual envelope generators, Ample offers deep modulation possibilities. Its rich, analog 24dB/oct low-pass filter, ring modulator, sub-oscillator, and noise circuit provide a wide range of textures, from classic analog warmth to experimental tones.
The patch pin matrix enables modular-style routing without the clutter of cables, offering flexibility and exploration in a compact form factor. Whether used standalone or as part of a larger modular setup, Ample delivers hands-on, vintage-style synthesis with modern versatility."

Fusebox X | Dreamy Sequence with Patternator & Isolated Oscillator 3 Melody
video upload by rezfilter
"A smooth, dreamlike sequence unfolds on the Analogue Solutions Fusebox X. The Patternator is used to create precise filter movements that evolve over time, shaping the sound with elegance and control. Oscillator 3 is patched separately to carry the lead melody, while Oscillators 1 and 2 provide the rhythmic foundation. Everything is performed live—no multitracking, just the raw power of analogue synthesis.
This video wasn't recorded with HQ audio, but was filmed just to document the capability for a fellow Fusebox X owner."

Analogue Solutions AS500-SEQ | 64-Step Sequencer with Fusebox X and ARP Omni
video upload by rezfilter
"The AS500-SEQ 64-step analogue sequencer is pulling double duty here — clocking the Fusebox X and modulating the filter on a vintage ARP Omni. No notes are being sequenced — the AS500-SEQ is used strictly for modulation and clock duties.
The Omni is played live by hand, and the Fusebox X bass pitch is manually triggered live using the Interval Generator (IG).
Captured live and recorded live — no MIDI.
In this setup: the AS500-SEQ handles clock and filter modulation, the Fusebox X brings the synth tone, and the ARP Omni delivers the vintage textures."

Ample Synthesizer Sequenced by 64-Step Analog Sequencer (AS500-SEQ)
video upload by rezfilter
"Here’s a quick, dawless jam using the Ample Synthesizer and the AS500-SEQ 64-step sequencer. It’s a 3-oscillator patch where two of the oscillators are getting their pitch modulated separately by the sequencer, giving it a nice moving feel. You’ll hear some GLIDE on one of the oscillators at the start — making the notes slide around a bit — and later I dial it back for a tighter sound."

Ample Synth - Dark Industrial Patch with Filter Overdrive | Analogue Solutions
video upload by rezfilter
"Dark industrial patch on the Ample Synth from Analogue Solutions. The bassline steps in an uneven pattern while the cutoff is moved by hand. Pitch shifts come in through the touch pads, patched into the matrix. A second oscillator gets added to the filter, and later the envelope generators tighten up the shape. Nothing polished — just a heavy, gritty sound built straight from the hardware."
Analogue Solutions Ample Synthesizer | Selected Patches
video upload by rezfilter
"Here’s a selection of patches created entirely on the Analogue Solutions Ample synthesizer — no external effects, no added distortion. Just pure Ample.
Ample combines the best elements from several AS products:
-The rich sound engine of Fusebox
-The jack patch points of Concussor Eurorack
-The patch pin matrix of Vostok
-The built-in echo from Dr Strangelove
-The sequencer and CV touch pads from Generator
While it draws from these classics, Ample has a character all its own.
It can be as simple or as deep as you want it to be.
Ample is packed with a wide and diverse range of controls, giving even the most experienced synthesists endless possibilities through both knobs and patch sockets.
At the same time, its familiar layout makes it easy for newcomers to jump in and start creating powerful, musical sounds — especially when paired with this manual and other resources."

Coming Soon: Analogue Solutions TC5000 Analogue Patch Pin Matrix Synthesizer
video upload by Analogue Solutions
Follow-up to this post.
"This is not an ARP2500 clone...
The TC5000 utilises Analogue Solutions’ proprietary circuits. Some are adapted from our other exceptional synthesizers, such as Leipzig, Telemark, and Fusebox, along with some new designs created specifically for this synthesizer.
The TC5000 features two full-width patch pin matrix panels, providing a user interface experience reminiscent of the iconic ARP2500.
Utilising the TC5000 for sound design will offer a similar experience to the ARP2500. The user interface is a crucial aspect of sound design; it is not solely about the filter. How you interact with a synthesizer is equally important. Different user interfaces and working approaches enable you to create patches that you might not have discovered using, for example, patch leads.
Note: Some modules of the final product are likely to change, so join our news list below for continual updates on TC5000 development.
This is a brand-new product; consequently, it will take some time to compile promotional media. We will add this as it becomes available.
In the meantime, listen to the demos of our other synthesizers, such as Colossus, to understand our capabilities and the standard that the TC5000 will achieve."

Analogue Solutions Introduces the TC5000 - ARP 2500 Inspired Synthesizer
video upload by sonicstate
"Tom's stand is hard to miss, always something massive and/or impressive to catch your attention ;-]
This year it's the turn of the TC5000, a synthesizer drawing inspiration from the ARP2500 with a patch matrix system along the lines of those he has developed since the Vostok. The TC5000 has a unique mix of circuits - compiled from years of development in products like the Fusebox and Colossus - and its user interface, for ease of patching across upper and lower matrices.
With a host of modules, including oscillators, filters, sequencers, and dual spring reverbs, Tom plans to provide a comprehensive package, with potential expansions through additional "wings" or systems.
Price is expected to be in the £22K range, available towards the end of the year"

This one is in via Soviet Space Child.

via Analogue Solutions:
"ANALOGUE PATCH PIN MATRIX SYNTH
This product is so new, we haven’t even finished this web page!
The selection of modules that will be configured in the final system will differ from the pre-production unit features in the current photographs.
WE ARE TAKING PRE-ORDERS NOW (DEPOSIT REQUIRED).
ETA TOWARDS THE END OF THE YEAR.
This is not an ARP2500 clone! TC5000 ustilises Analogue Solutions’ own circuits. Some are adapted from our other stunning synthesizers, like Leipzig, Telemark and Fusebox. Plus some new designs especially for this synthesizer.
TC5000 features two full width patch pin matrix panels that provide the same kind of UI experience that made the ARP2500 so incredible.
Using TC5000 for sounds design will give you a similar experience to the ARP. User interface is a very important aspect of sound design. It really isn’t all about the filter. How you interact with a synth is equally important. Different UI and working approaches means you will come up with patches you might otherwise not have come across using say, patch leads."

X-Plorations Vol 2 - Sequential Prophet X - Patches 97 to 128 (of 128)
video upload by GEOSynths
"Out Now - https://www.geosynths.com/prophetx
So, it's been almost 4 Years since I worked on the Prophet X and then released X-Plorations Vol 1. While it does have some amazing Factory Samples from 8DIO, which i have used, I was a little disappointed in the Synth Samples, so I sampled 14 of my Synths, just the Oscillators wide open over many Octaves and EVERY note.

"The #AS500SEQ 64-step sequencer runs double-duty here, clocking the #FuseboxX and modulating/stepping the filter on this vintage #arpomni. Analogue sequencers can sequence pitch, but they are so much more fun and useful in your #modularsynth #studio. 🎛️🎛️🎛️🎵🎶🎵
The AS500-SEQ is compatible with many CV synths, modules and other gear both old and new!
Enjoy!"

Analogue Solutions | Live Jam | Fusebox X and Fusebox | No Talking
video upload by VCO USA
"A live track featuring two Analogue Solutions Fuseboxes- The Fusebox X, and the original Fusebox.
One is doing the '303 / Acid' sounding lead, the other is doing the bouncing bassline. Clever use of the built in 'Patternator' let both sounds bounce between low, mid, and high timbres.
To me the Fusebox really does sound special. It has my personal favorite sounding filters of any synth ever made- An incredible Multimode 2 pole filter (Low pass, Band pass, High pass, and Notch). Notice the resonance is maxed, while still being smooth and bright, but without being sharp or ear piercing.
Both fuseboxes are sequenced with Ableton Live, with a touch of overdrive, compression, and reverb. Off camera- a poly synth is playing some simple chords, and just 3 drum sounds make the entire drum track.
Enjoy!

Analogue Solutions announces availability of Ample as ANALOGUE 3 VCO PATCH PIN SYNTHESISER blending best of past and present products
SHATTERFORD, UK: after a successful soft-launch at SynthFest 2023 in Sheffield, UK on October 7, British boutique electronic instruments innovator Analogue Solutions is proud to announce availability of Ample to a wider audience as a desktop-friendly ANALOGUE 3 VCO PATCH PIN SYNTHESISER — beautifully blending the best elements of several of its past and present products to form a truly analogue modular system skilfully presented as a precision- engineered electronic musical instrument in a spacious (550mm x 262mm x 83mm) steel and aluminium case that also embraces ergonomic features such as VESA mount compliance, should desktop space be at a premium, all of which adds up to being a perfect fit for its appropriate appellation — as of November 29…
Ample adheres to Analogue Solutions’ tried-and-tested no-compromise construction formula, featuring a full rugged steel and aluminium case — no plastic mouldings here; high-quality metal potentiometers with smooth action, fully sealed against dust intrusion; high-quality knobs with spun aluminium caps; high-quality double-sided circuit boards; high-quality 16-bit DAC (Digital-to-Analogue Convertor) for stable MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) to CV (Control Voltage) conversion; stable analogue oscillators; gold-plated touch plates; plus true retro analogue voice and modulation circuits to give an authentic retro sound. Since Analogue Solutions’ innovative instruments are applauded for proudly possessing a truly vintage sound — synthesisers featuring fully-analogue audio paths with analogue LFOs (Low Frequency Oscillators) and EGs (Envelope Generators), in other words, Ample is in good company as an ANALOGUE 3 VCO PATCH PIN SYNTHESISER.
But by beautifully blending the best elements of several past and present products — namely, the sound elements of Fusebox fabricated originally as an aptly-named, three-VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) true analogue monophonic synthesiser that favourably fuses the company’s characterful vintage sound with an advanced choice of modulation and melodic possibilities in a beautifully-built box; the jack points introduced in the long-discontinued line of Concussor modular synth drum modules (themselves dating back to the time when Analogue Solutions was the third company to start producing Eurorack format-compatible modules, magical as that might sound in today’s ever-expanding era of thousands of Eurorack modules being produced by hundreds — if not thousands — of developers, both bigger and smaller); the patch pin matrix introduced in the long-lasting Vostok semi-modular synthesiser series (that knowingly nodded and winked at its Russian ‘roots’ from a visual standpoint); the lo-fi echo featured in Dr Strangelove as a small and affordable desktop signal processor (that ushered in Analogue Solutions’ so-called synthBlocks series); and last, but by no means least, the sequencer and CV touch plates introduced in Generator as a highly-versatile multi-channel analogue step sequencer — to form a truly analogue modular system skilfully presented as a precision-engineered electronic musical instrument is what really makes Ample stand out amongst Analogue Solutions’ present-day products.
Put it this way: while Ample shares all of those features from some of Analogue Solutions’ ‘greatest hits’, it still has a sound of its own thanks to the circuits on offer: OSCILLATING is handled by three analogue VCOs (Voltage-Controlled Oscillators), each providing a wealth of features and modulation choices, with the VCO3/LFO 1 legend visually highlighting that the third oscillator can easily be utilised as an LFO (with saw, square, and triangle wave modulation signals), while LFO2/SYNC has a triangle wave output to total two LFOs; the LP VCF (Voltage-Controlled Filter) section is anchored around a four-pole 24dB-per-octave low-pass filter; the VCA (Voltage-Controlled Amplifier) can be set to THRU so it is always ‘open’ (allowing Ample to be used as an effect processor); the two envelope generators — EG 1 and EG 2 — each offer full control over ATTACK, DECAY, SUSTAIN, and RELEASE; extensive modulation routing choices allow for a wide range of resultant sounds extending into percussion and ‘modular’ territory, further extended by patching with the jack sockets and pin matrix; MIDI is intentionally kept simple so users can concentrate on creating new sounds and making music, with all- important control over filter cutoff available via MIDI Velocity; patchable CV control sockets allow the synth in question to effectively be rewired to make new sounds, as well as easily patched together with external Eurorack and other modular systems; the PATTERNATOR is a vintage-style 16-step sequencer; the six touch plates each output a set voltage, so can be used to pitch notes or as modulation signals — either way, they are truly inspirational in action; the pin matrix represents a neat (and flexible) way to patch the synth; and the ECHO section provides easy access to adding a little lo-fi echo or delay.
Audio applications abound when working with Ample as a synthesiser — excelling at analogue sound effects, as well as fat basses, screaming leads, and all manner of other crazy sounds associated with analogue synthesis; an effect processor — perfect for feeding external sounds through the onboard analogue filter and ECHO sections via external audio inputs; a drum synthesiser — suited to producing electronic percussion, including cymbal, hi-hat, kick, and snare sounds; and as a modular synthesiser — partially pre-patched, but with such a wide range of modulation routing possibilities that it is almost as versatile as a full-blown modular system, and capable of producing the same types of sounds but dispensing with telephone exchange-like cabling confusion in favour of making space-saving connections with removable coloured pins, yet still providing a flexible selection of patch sockets so it can quickly be re-patched into itself or to/from external Eurorack and other modular systems.
It is also worth noting in conclusion that while Ample can be used with an external MIDI keyboard or DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), or an external CV keyboard or analogue sequencer, it is equally at home being worked with on its own using its internal step sequencer or pitch played via its six-touch plate ‘keyboard’. Whatever way anyone chooses to work with Ample, it could conceivably be argued that it is the best desktop synth of all — Analogue Solutions-wise or otherwise!
Limited quantities of Ample are already available to purchase directly from Analogue Solutions for £1,999.00 GBP (excluding tax/VAT) via its dedicated webpage (https://www.analoguesolutions.com/ample) while stock will soon be arriving at selected dealers (https://www.analoguesolutions.com/dealers).
Check with dealers on the right for availability.
