Klaus Schulze Tribute Vol. 2 for Korg Wavestate continues the journey into the sound world of classic Berlin School electronic music.

This second chapter is dedicated to the atmosphere, movement and musical language connected to Klaus Schulze, one of the most influential names in electronic music history.

The soundset includes 40 melodic and atmospheric Performances for Korg Wavestate hardware and Wavestate Native, designed for musicians who want evolving sequences, complex arpeggios, warm leads, large polys, strings and deep atmospheric pads.

The direction is clear: classic and modern Berlin sequences, modular-style motion, expressive solo sounds, cinematic pads and long-form electronic textures.

This library was inspired by the spirit of works such as Crystal Lake, Are You Sequenced?, Mirage, Body Love, Velvet Voyage and other classic electronic productions.

pentagrams of discordia - brain controlling (cover)

video upload by fischek

"'Brain Controlling' is a true gem from Pentagrams of Discordia’s The Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia EP. Here’s my take on it.

It’s a deceptively simple track—and an absolute earworm.

Looking forward to hearing what Pentagrams of Discordia have in store for August 28!

Dub Techno w/ KORG wavestate & volca modular | Panic Zone Incident 2026-07-25 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"A dub techno piece where complex sound textures intertwine.

This work features the wavestate, volca modular, and OP-1 field.

On the wavestate, synth pad sounds are performed and processed through the MOOD MKII. Layered micro loops create dense and complex sound textures.

On the OP-1 field, the DBOX engine generates glitchy percussion sequenced with the ENDLESS sequencer. The CWO effect adds modulation delay, while the MOTHER effect applies gated reverb.

The bassline uses an FM-style bass sound from Omnisphere. The kick and clap sounds use Ableton Sampler.

The volca modular is used without patch cables, with its original sound shaped through parameter editing. It is synchronized with the wavestate through the MSY2, which converts MIDI clock into an appropriate synchronization signal. The volca modular output is processed through the NIGHTSKY with filtering and reverb."

60 New D-50 Inspired Performances for Your Korg Wavestate

video upload by Ian Dixon

"In this video, I'm demonstrating my new 'D-50 Collection' sound pack designed for the Korg Wavestate, Wavestate Native, and Wavestate Module. Inspired by the late 80s LA synthesis of the Roland D-50, these 60 performances and 170+ programs use the Wavestate's native samples and 4-layer architecture to recreate that distinctive, bright hybrid sound.

I’ll be walking through some of the classic recreations like Fantasia, Staccato Heaven, and Soundtrack, as well as original sounds built using the same D-50 concepts.

Pack Details:

60 Performances & 170+ Programs
No external samples required (uses built-in Wavestate samples)
Compatible with hardware and native versions

boards of canada - blood in the labyrinth (cover)

video upload by fischek

"this was a really fun and intricate puzzle (labyrinth? :)) of a cover — as it often seems to be with boards of canada.

'blood in the labyrinth' is a beautiful track, probably my favourite on inferno, with those haunting vocal samples that feel like they were somehow made for it.

i tried to stay close to the atmosphere of the original, while finding my way through it — the textures, the timing, the small details...

had a lot of fun making this one (and took me quite a while to make it).

p.s. will prob work on naraka next :)

Korg Wavestate - "Glitch Textures" Soundset (44 Performances)

video upload by LFOstore

"Inspired by the golden era of intelligent electronic music (IDM), including projects as Autechre, early Aphex Twin, The Orb, Plaid, Telefon Tel Aviv and others, Glitch Textures is a meticulously crafted collection of 44 performances for Korg Wavestate. This soundset captures the very essence of classic IDM: the warmth of analog imperfections, the hypnotic beauty of broken beats, and the deep emotional resonance of glitched melodies. Every preset is a portal into a world where digital errors become musical virtues.

Harnessing the Wavestate‘s wave sequencing, we have harmonized glitches, clicks, stutters, and data degradation with lush and evolving soundscapes. You won‘t find random noise here — instead, you’ll discover intelligent imperfections: polyrhythmic sequences that breathe, pads that drift organically out of tune, and leads that sound like cherished childhood toys struggling to remember a melody.

As a sound designer for Access Music, Native Instruments, and Modal Electronics, OttO K. Schwarz poured his passion for experimental electronics into every preset. Many performances feature multi-layered setups, rhythmic textures and melodic phrases — perfect for live performance and deep studio exploration.

All presets are finely tuned for real-time expression: modulation wheel and velocity give you intuitive control over several parametres. Whether you‘re scoring the film, producing IDM, ambient, or experimental electronica, “Glitch Textures” offers a unique palette of sounds that are both beautifully broken and surprisingly musical.

Korg Wavestate - "Digital Legends"

video upload by LFOstore

"Compatible with Korg Wavestate, Wavestate mkII, Wavestate SE, Wavestate Module, and Wavestate Native.

BUY: https://kav-sound-explorer.sellfy.sto...

Some synthesizers don't just make sounds - they define eras. The Korg M1, 01W, M3R, T1, Z1, and Trinity shaped the sound of an entire decade, and their character is unmistakable: that particular blend of digital clarity, organic warmth, and subtle imperfection that no modern preset can quite replicate.

Digital Legends brings those machines into your Wavestate. Built from 88 original multisamples captured directly from these instruments, the pack uses the Wavestate's wave sequencing engine to push classic tones into new territory - layered, evolving, and alive in ways the originals never could be.

The result is a collection that works equally well for deep nostalgia and forward-thinking production. Lush evolving pads, shimmering leads, expressive synth keys, full-bodied basses, and classic poly textures - all rooted in vintage Korg DNA, all ready for modern use.
