MIX1 2 HP module + Ants

"MIX1 module, a mixer with 2 channels, attenuverters, a DC control and individual outputs. Used for audio and video signals.

In this video the VCF of the Ants is controlled with the AD envelope. The envelope passes through the MIX1 channel 1 were it as attenuated and inverted. Bias (DC) is used to turn up the inverted envelope.

Later we add stepped randoms to the channel 2 which are mixed with the channel 1 envelope and bias."

"The Rare Wave Hydronium can turn every other modular or semi-modular synths into Acid synths, thanks to a CV output that contains the legato glide information, so it doesn't matter if your synth can't do it, because the Hydronium will legato glide in its place.

I have four different semi-modular synths, that I'm turning into acid synths. The Behringer Model D, Plankton Electronics Ants, Dreadbox NYX, and MakeNoise 0-Coast, and as bonus, the Rare Waves Hydronium by itself. The portable Deluge does sequencer duties and makes all the other noises."

"Complex paching with the 4 units + MFOS VCF, The Jellyfish, Eloquencer, and a guitar reverb pedal. 2 oscillators of the Ants made the pad which is filtered by the SPICE VCF and drived to the Nutone CH1, which is CVd with the Envf and the Kickdrum. The other 2 Ants oscillators are seuqnced with the Eloquencer, filtered with the MFOS VCF, then to the Jellyfish delay and to the Nutone Ch2. The Kick drum is generated with the Ants filter resonance."

"3 Ants tracks sequenced with the Eloquencer going directly to the Nutone. Playing one of the tracks through the SpiceVCF with a stepped LFO. Bass drum is driving the EnvF which modulates the Nutone channel 1 drive."

"Complex patching using 2 oscillators, the Ants VCF and the SPICEVCF, 1 Ants VCA and one Nutone channel as a VCA. The other nutone channel is adding subtle distortion. The envelope follower is triggered by a 4/4 drum doing some sidechain effects."

"All unnatural sounds come from the Plankton Electronics Ants. It is a constantly interrupted arpeggio patch with some white noise which comes and goes in waves, matching the sounds of the ocean.
In order to minimize time, I kept it simple this time. Just a patch and some footage from my favourite recreational place. Sorry if it`s all too cliché for you. I kinda like it.
