Nerve Net Noise, First Night Boston 2009
YouTube via monumentaldocuments.
"First US appearance of Japanese synth wizard. Crummy cell phone footage."
via Michael:
"Japanese synth noise mastery live on new years eve. Sorry I couldn't
get a shot of his gear, but it was an amazing homemade
dual-joystick-controlled synth."
Bandlimited ramp waveform example aiff files
"These sound files demonstrate bandlimited synthesis of a ramp wave from its fourier series. Limiting the synthesis to a particular number of harmonics affects the quality of the output. The question is how many are necessary for a satisfactory output?
The table below has example sound files of bandlimited ramps with increasing numbers of harmonics. There are tones over three octaves, starting from roughly 85Hz. Note that for the very large numbers of harmonics, there may be aliasing distortion present, since the harmonics will go above the Nyquist frequency for the 44.1KHz sample rate used for the examples."
You can find the table and samples on electric druid's Synth DIY pages.

Korg DS-10 Acid "Lily"
YouTube via DSacid. drums come in at 1:00 and the track really picks up at 1:30.
MicroMoog Freqbox Demo
YouTube via Rhythmicons
"My first youtube attempt. This is a demo basically intended to give prospective Freqbox buyers a chance to hear it used as a second Oscillator. The CP251's mixer is used to control the volume of the Freqbox before entering the Micromoog's audio input.
MicroMoog Keyboard to Attenuator CP251
Attenuator out to Freq Box Frequency Input
Freqbox Osc output to Mixer input.
Mixer output to Audio Input of the MicroMoog.
HOpe you enjoy and the next will get better"
Video Feedback Visualizer Modular Patch
YouTube via ionraygun
"I create live real-time video feedback sets on occasion and this is one of my favorite starter patches for audio visualization... wanted to demonstrate the patch while everything is still in this configuration from a New Years Eve gig.
This example uses an ebay telephone carbon microphone as an audio source going into a Doepfer A-119 input module filtered by Livewire and Plan B VCFs into an MFB VD-01 VideoScope module that is then keyed over a live video feedback signal path with a Videonics MX1 video mixer and processed by a Korg KAOSS Pad Entrancer... wow is anybody actually reading this?
Shot on a Nikon D90 for no other reason then it was handy and my Canon XHA1 is loaned out to a friend... plus who else would dare use their new DSLR for video feedback looping?
Watch in HD!"
Synth Blues - JayVinsent
YouTube via jayvinsent
"A short improv blues piece with accompanying synthesizers. I recorded this using a cheap Casio keyboard and Propellerhead Software's Reason 4. This is my first time using this software, so be nice :P"
