Diy Project: Make an Upright Case For Your microKorg Synthesizer by I Love Analogue

YouTube via iloveanalogue
"This is a project I did, which allows for the microKorg synthesizer to be stored and played vertically.
It was done for under $10 using scrap wood, nails, wood glue, and off-the-shelf paint stain.
Measure the wood approx 20" across, and give yourself about 13" for the vertical storage.
You can hear more Robbie Ryan musik videos and such at http://iloveanalogue.blogspot.com or

YouTube via alkopop79. follow-up to this post
"Jitter analyzes the video and tracks the position of red color on the screen. The position (x, y) is converted to MIDI CC and sent to Ableton."

The Ekdahl Moisturizer

"The Ekdahl Moisturizer is a spring reverb where the springs are exposed so they can be played/hit/fiddled with. As well as being capable of creating sound in itself, you can of course also play sound through the springs like a regular spring reverb - this makes for happy-fun-time finger-modulation of the reverb on whatever audio that's going through it. On top of this there's an analog multimode filter that can be used to attenuate or exaggerate certain frequencies in the sound..." There is also an LFO and CV control. Be sure to see The Ekdahl Moisturizer site for tons more including samples.

"The Ekdahl Moisturizer having its springs played, mostly without any audio source connected."

Moisturizer feedback clean

"The Ekdahl Moisturizer feeding back through an amp, no audio source or other effects used. Sorry about the shitty quality of the sound, this does NOT show the full frequency range. Check out www.sdiy.org/knas for more shit."

minator keytar synth guitar - "The Hi-Tech Guitar"

via this auction

"Vintage AMT minator keytar in good working condition. This is a rare and bizarre noise maker that I ran across. It is pretty simple device with about 5 pre-programmed riffs on it. It has no midi control and has a 1/8” headphone out, also a weird jack that looks like a phone cord that says sync. It has guitar strap hook-ons. The drum pads trigger 3 drum fills. Works off 6 c sized batteries. It accepts cartridges in the slot with more song riffs. It includes cartridge #71001- classic rock 1- with start me up/stones, whole lotta love/zep, Roxanne/police, money for nothing/dire straits, and lets go/the cars. the cartridge contains about the most butchered versions of these riffs. they sound rather cool. Pretty rare and hard to find these days. This is a very cool looking and bizare sounding"

Update via Anonymous in the comments: "This is actually called the JAMINATOR. Not AMT Minotar. Hah! [funny]

I have one. They have several expansion cartridges. You can sync up two of them with a phone cord."
