Single Manual Keybord Version of the Sequential Circuits Prophet-10

via this auction
"Up for sale is an extremely rare Sequential Circuits Prophet 10 keyboard. This synth has just has $700 worth of maintenance put into it, making it flawless. It works great, and sounds better than any synth you have ever heard, HONESTLY. This once is a rare piece, sometime along the way a previous owner had cut off the second tier keyboard, effectively making it a single tier Prophet 10. This modification in no way hinders the performance of the synth, in fact I think the single tier version is optimal. This synth works PERFECTLY, keeps amazing tune and functions day in and day out. This Prophet 10 has MIDI, although I am not sure how to engage the MIDI, or rather how to get it to function. The repair tech had told me that the MIDI passes and should be functioning, yet it is not engaged, most likely a simple fix. Besides the MIDI, this synth is perfect inside and out. Looks great, every button and knob functions as you would expect and as I have previously stated, nothing comes close to this piece in sound. If in NYC, local pickup would be amazing, will ship globally." This one spotted and sent in by dump.fm.

Atomic Shadow Lab

YouTube via MyAtomicShadow | July 11, 2010
Some synth spotting via Atomic Shadow: "Here is a quick look around the lab. The mic on my camera is having a spasm so no narration. Yes, I do wear the lab coat sometimes.

I have a new collection of recordings coming up. Please find Atomic Shadow on Facebook for links to free downloads. Thanks!"

Regarding the xylophone controller and double manual organ: "It is a Wernick Xylosynth, which despite the synth in the name is really just a midi controller. The organ is a Philips Philicorda GM-760."

Clavia Nord Lead 2 with Original Box

via this auction

I'm curious how much the printed box costs over a standard cardboard box. Would make for good wallpaper in the studio/office.

"The incredible Nord Lead synthesizer is taken a few steps further with the Nord Lead 2. It uses the same synthesis technology and sounds as good as the Nord Lead, but adds a few nice new touches. These features include a ring modulator, OSC 1 can sync with the white noise generator, increased LFO and arpeggiator waveforms and patterns, distortion in the squelchier punchier filter section and 4 individual outputs.

All the great sound, MIDI control and analog-like sound and design that made the Nord Lead famous return in this new and improved version. The Nord Lead 2 is the synthesizer of choice for many professionals."
