BEAT BURNER by CODE AUDIO

YouTube via UPROAR24 | February 21, 2011 |

"lee stacey's beatburner gives your beats a new start by adding filters and waveshapers from adding bassy backgrounds, slightly metalic sounds to bone crunching to almost electric guitars screaming sound at exreme levels and is another freeware classic that seems to have dimmed from the spot light in recent years. but hopefully now its back on the map where it belongs.
the more extreme setting can be heard in this video around the five minute mark. where i just click the random button and add different wave samples from the cm classics sample collection. hopefully this video give you an idea of some of the rock bottom basics that you can expect from beatburner for more infomation read the manual provided to get the most out of this classicv vst plugin.

POKEY.synth demo jam 2

POKEY.synth demo jam 2 from Low-Gain on Vimeo.

"Using only the pokey.synth module for sound source. I'm also running the uLFO sine wave through the Aux input to demonstrate the SR function.

I'm using my uStep/Short Bus to trigger Envelators which are outputing CV Into the "vol" input on the Pokey. The Pokey module has 2 built in VCA's! :) which is pretty awesome! Z8000 is also being clocked via Short Bus/uStep which is controlling pitch for pokey osc 1 & 2, uLFO pitch, SR CV (on pokey) and Wave CV on Pokey."

MeeBlip Synthesis Reference Guide: Knobs, Switches, Sounds

via MeeBlip Noisepages

"The MeeBlip synthesis reference guide is now complete. Every knob, every switch is documented. And since we know everyone from first-time synth owners to serious coders are picking up the MeeBlip, we don’t make any assumptions. I’ve tried to document synthesis concepts for those who haven’t seen them before, but I’ve also tried to include details."

You'll also find some nice pics via By Create Digital Media on flickr.
