Skullface - Circuit Bent Kawasaki

YouTube Uploaded by SeaweedFactory on Nov 2, 2011

"A loop build using a DL4 looper pedal and Skullface as the only audio source. All live in one take, no overdubs, no effects other than looping.

Skullface has been built from a Kawasaki keyboard, with added pitch bend and a custom paint job.

STG Soundlabs at Moogfest 2k11

via Suit & Tie Guy

"This past weekend during the Moogfest music festival in Asheville NC, due to the kind graces of the Bob Moog Foundation, I was able to set my personal Moog-format modular system (composed of STG Soundlabs and Synthesizers.com modules) up for public interaction in the "Moogaplex" venue of the festival, where the panel discussions, circuit-bending competition, and Dr Bob's Soundschool were located.

This was a rather intense weekend for me. I was able to get people in front of a system who had never seen one in person or not had the opportunity to touch one, I met customers and friends who I only interact with online finally in the flesh, and I was able to shake hands with people whose work I've admired for years as well (and even show them my work.)"

Front 242's Emulator II

This one in via Javier, spotted on the eiiiforum, posted by dvdborn:

"Yesterday I was at Sinner's Day (http://www.sinnersday.com). A festival that takes please each year in my home town. This year Front 242 were celebrating their 30 years of existence.

To my suprise I saw a beaten up EII at their merchandise boot. I asked the guy standing behind the boot about it. Seems he was Patrick Codenys' brother and he told me that they were selling the EII.

It's the one and only EII that Front used for their their albums and concerts in the 80s and early 90s. Unfortunately it didn't work anymore.

However some guy from the UK already bought it for 1500 euro. A bit too pricey for me considering it's broken but it does have a historic value.

David"
