4ms Triwave Picogenerator

"Do you like making crazy noises? Of course you do, that's why you're looking at this. Unfortunately I need money to pay for school, so this puppy's up for grabs.

Made by commonsound (the 4ms guy), it's basically the "drum trigger" model with an extension bypass stomp, so you can use it as a guitar pedal, or tabletop. Also has stereo outs, bypass flipswitch (so you can turn it on or off without the footswitch), range switch, and a clean aux input. That's $165 in extras! Plus it comes with a power supply. Now why am I selling it so cheap? First, like I said, I need money. Second, I had trouble getting it to work like a ringmod. There's a crack in the enclosure around the input jack, so that might be the source of the problem. I got it to work properly once or twice, but most of the time it's just a clean blend.

More info and soundclips and whatnot can be found here."

TC-11 Video Tutorial 1: Patch Programming

YouTube Uploaded by BitShapeSoftware on Jan 11, 2012

"This tutorial looks at the basics of patch programming in TC-11. We start a new blank patch, and build a stretchy synth using different controllers for AHDSR and filter control.

TC-11 is a programable modular synthesizer on the iPad, controlled by multi-touch and device motion controllers. All synthesis parameters can be controlled by these two sources, which allows the user to create countless unique patch configurations.

For more information, visit www.bitshapesoftware.com or follow @BitShapeSoft on Twitter."

via EQ-AV where you'll find additional details.

"z0xb0x is a pet name of my x0xb0x. It's actually three devices combined: x0xb0x,Boss OS-2 Distortion/overdrive pedal and DMF-2 a low pass high pass filter."

NAMM: Eowave at NAMM: Discover the KOMA!!!!!

"This year, Eowave is attending the NAMM 2012 and will announce the release of the KOMA! 2011 has been full of new releases with the Ribbon, a monosynth/USB/audio controller and the release of the little analogue synth DOMINO in November. We'll show the KOMA [no relation to KOMA Electronik], an analog bassline synth with memory and a 16 step sequencer that will be ready to ship very very soon!

, a step back into the 80s with a touch of 2012...

KOMA is an analog sequenced bass synthesizer inspired by classic synths from the 1980s with a synthesis section with 256 sound presets and 256 patterns and a step sequencer section.

The synthesis section offers the possibility to mix 4 different waveforms (saw, square, sub, noise) for infinite modulations. The SUB DESYNC mode enables to desynchronize and to detune the SUB and the main oscillator for complex sounds. The filter is a 24 dB resonant low-pass filter. The LFO has 8 waveforms (triangle, ramp up, ramp down, square, random, digital noise, staircase up, staircase down) and can modulate the VCO, VCF or PWM.
To this particular analog sound of the 80s, we added a touch of modernity with controls and parameters to save compositions and performances. The 16 step sequencer has 4 sections: 1 for the notes and 3 freely assignable to a parameter of your choice to create living sequences with sonorities like Vince Clark or Jan Hammer.

With 256 sound presets and 256 patterns locations, the KOMA is a versatile instrument for live performance as well as a powerful composition and sound design tool. Its very intuitive control panel allows the user to edit all parameters in real-time.

XoXboX plus KOMA AnAlOg gate / delay pedal.

YouTube Uploaded by Janoise on Jan 11, 2012

"Demo.
The Koma pedal has a gate and a very short delay.
At the end of the delay range the Koma gets in a kind of a bit-crusher sounding effect.
This is not often found at a analog pedal.
This is because Koma has modded the chip!"

NAMM: AtomoSynth Comes to Eurorack

via AtomoSynth
We now know what these teaser pics were for: one, two

"Hello world... yes... AtomoSynth goes modular, these are our first eurorack modules: KOE and KONEKO.... soon more details!!"

Details on the KONEKO MIDI to CV (KOE will follow):

"Hello world it is the KONEKO eurorack module, it is an affordable Midi to CV converter (Volt per Octave), it is 14HP width and needs +/- 12V, +5V power.

Main features:
CV1 PITCH output 0 to +5 Volt range (5 octaves) it comes from a very accurate 12 bit resolution (4096 steps) digital to analog converter DAC, which translates the incoming midi note messages to voltage. It also responds to the pitch bend or pitch wheel control, according to the midi standard it has a range of +/- two half steps.

Glide effect, it affects the CV1 PITCH output.

Gate output 0 or +5 Volt. it has a red LED that indicates when there is an active gate signal.

CV2 output 0 to +5 Volt range, it comes from a 7 bit resolution (128 steps) digital to analog converter, it can be easily set to output the velocity or any controller CC from the midi device.

PROGRAM button allows you easily set the midi channel just by pushing it and then pushing a note in your midi keyboard, the midi channel will be automatically set and stored even when the unit is turn off. It also allows you to set the controller CC for the CV2 output, just push the Program button and move any controller in your midi device and it will be set automatically.

Midi In and Midi Thru connectors, allows you to connect many midi devices in chain.

available soon... "

Great way to add some color to your system. These glow nicely in black light.

Update: Pics and details on the KOE

"This is the KOE module, it is japanese for "voice" because it is a complete synth voice in just one affordable module, it is 28 HP width and needs +/- 12V power.

Main features:

One VCO with square and ramp wavefoms with depth and tune controls, tune control is a ten turn potentiometer which allows you easily set octave, tune and fine tune with
just one knob.

Noise sourse, it can be set to affect the VCO frequency or it can be mixed with the VCO and audio input.

One LFO with square and triangle waveforms is can be set to affect the VCO frequency or the Filter cut off, it also features an output jack.

High pass and Low pass vactrol based filter with cutoff and resonance/peak control, it also features an input jack to control the cut off frequency.

Two Envelope generators: EG1 with decay control which is set to affect the cut off frequency of the filter and EG2 with attack and release controls, set to affect the volume, it has an output jack and input jack for the incoming gate signal.

Also it features an audio input, it allows process any axternal audio signal with the filter and envelopes."
